What was the name of Matroskina's cat, or The history of the creation of m / f about Prostokvashino

As the name of Matroskina's cat, in the 70s, thanks to the animated masterpiece of director Vladimir Popov, the entire Soviet Union - both adults and children - recognized. The phrases "That's from my cow what's the use!", "Wrong sandwich", "mustache and tail - these are my documents!" And many others became aphorisms. How was one of the most beloved domestic cartoons created and who was the author of an entertaining story about Uncle Fyodor and his friends?

Eduard Uspensky and his work

Eduard Uspensky after graduation received a fairly serious education - he studied at the engineering department of the Moscow Aviation Institute. Already in his student years Ouspensky published his humorous stories in newspapers and magazines. But the young writer was confronted with the fact that the censorship did not miss a half of the material written by him. Therefore, Eduard Nikolaevich turned to children's literature and made his debut with the book "Crocodile Gena and his friends."

In addition to the beloved Cheburashka and Crocodile Genes, Eduard Uspensky created such characters as Matroskin's cat, postman Pechkin, investigator Kolobok, Zhab Zhabych Skovorodkin, and others.

According to Uspensky's scripts many children's cartoons have been filmed, but a special place among them is the story whose characters - Uncle Fyodor, Galchonok, Matroskin cat and Murka's cow, Sharik and others - have deeply settled in the hearts of small viewers.

The first screen version of the story about Uncle Fedor

The first cartoon, which tells of the fun adventures of Uncle Fyodor, was released back in 1975. It lasted only 18 minutes and was removed using the technique of shifting.

The directors were Lidia Surikova (m / f "Zlatovlask") and Yuri Klepatsky (m / f "Dandelion"), and the name of the animated film was consonant with the title of the story written by Uspensky - "Uncle Fyodor, dog and cat."

The film crew did not have a lot of famous names. The famous Cat Matroskin was voiced by Svetlana Kharlap, the postman Pechkin by Victor Baikov, besides, A.Goryunova, Z. Andreeva, A.Verbitsky, E.Khromova and A.Mikhailov were invited to voice the film.

About this animated film is almost forgotten, because only three years later for the adaptation of the story took real masters of Soviet cinema, as well as the best composers and animators.

History of the creation of the m / f "Three from Prostokvashino"

The second An attempt to film a book about Uncle Fyodor was undertaken Director Vladimir Popov, on the account of which there were already such masterpieces as "Moydodyr" (animator), "Twelve months" (animator), "Umka" (director), etc.

As the cat named Kota Matroskina, he recognized the whole of the Soviet Union exactly after the appearance of the cartoon film by V. Popov in 1978. The plot again touched on the entertaining story of moving to the village not by the years of a sensible boy and his friends. And the script for the masterpiece was written by Eduard Uspensky himself.

"Three from Prostokvashino" was created by Popov with the participation of an equally talented team of art directors, which included Nikolay Erykalov (m / f "The Nutcracker") and Levon Khachatryan (m / f "Lentiy").

Create characters with a pleasant, but at the same time memorable appearance - this is one of the fundamental success of any cartoon. V.Popov paid special attention to this process and shared responsibilities: Khachatryan worked on the development of "human" heroes, Erykalov - animals (including the image of the famous cat Matroskina cat - Murki). The talent of art directors and animators paid off with interest: after the premiere of the cartoon every child knew by heart the names of all the characters, and most importantly - the name of the cow Matroskina cat.

Subsequent screen versions of the book

The nationwide love won by the animated film "Three from Prostokvashino" prompted Soyuzmultfilm to start filming two more films: in 1980, the cartoon "Vacation in Prostokvashino" appeared, and in 1984 - "Winter in Prostokvashino".

The film crew of the second film practically did not change, only the place of the art director Nikolai Erykalov was occupied by Arkady Cher (m / f "Capricious Princess"), and in the third part he was joined by Alexander Vinokurov (m / f "Mowgli").

It is impossible not to note the remarkable musical design, on which composer Yevgeny Krylatov worked.

Actors who voiced the characters

Above By sounding "Three from Prostokvashino" worked such eminent Actors like Lev Durov (Ball) and Valentin Talyzin (mother), Boris Novikov (postman Pechkin) and Maria Vinogradova (Uncle Fedor), as well as Herman Kachin (Papa).

However, the decoration of the film was the voice of Oleg Tabakov, who worked on the image of cat Matroskina. As Matrovskin's cat was called, everyone remembered in many respects thanks to him: the actor spoke with such pleasure and pride the text associated with the farm and the beloved cow of the cat, that before us it seemed like a living person (a little sparse, tight-fisted, loving prosperity and order in everything) , And not a cartoon character.

Trilogy about Prostokvashino will soon be 40 years old, but it still does not come off the TV screens and is stored in private home collections of various families. It is thanks to realism, recognizability of characters and situations, a series of cartoons about Prostokvashino became a fairy tale not only for children, but also a funny story for adults.
