About The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Girl with a dragon tattoo - a detective thriller from the director David Fincher, shot according to the book of S. Larsson. Starring Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig.

According to rumors, the main male role was put forward by such actors as Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, George Clooney and Viggo Mortensen. The film premiered on December 12, 2011, while in Russia the release date of the film was announced on January 2. The DVD release of the film took place on February 3.

The film has been waiting for a long time, as I am very positive about David Fincher's work. Despite his last film "Social Network", which in principle differs from all of his previous works, "The Girl with a Tattooed Dragon" is made in a classical version, that is, all gloomy, everywhere solid bastards and most scenes using hyperbole. By the way, the trailer and the list of movie soundtracks can look here.

According to the story, on the island, which belonged to the Wanger clan, 40 years ago Harriet Wanger disappeared and her body could not be found. Uncle of the girl is sure that there was a murder, and in his opinion the murderer is a member of the family.

Uncle, in search of the truth, hires journalist Mikael Blomqvist (Daniel Craig) and an informal tattooed hacker (Rooney Mara), to investigate a mysterious crime. A film for fans of this genre, namely the detective.

The plot is smooth, with time, puts everything in its shelves, just makes you think about the film, follow every detail, and in the end to collect a common mosaic. The actors play at the level of a good movie, the fee is exactly worked out. But, we must admit that the Fincher film is a Hollywood remake of the Swedish film of the same name, it's the movie, not the book.

Since in order to be in the know, and supplement the review with a comparison of what the Swedes were trying to understand, I looked at their version and, frankly, I liked it more. It was just a little hyperbole, everything was not so accentuated. Although, on the other hand, the Swedish film turned out to be less gloomy, but in rigidity, it was certainly not inferior to the American one. In general, the film "Girl with a Dragon Tattoo" is an excellent representative of its genre. And if you want to see scenes of increased violence, then look at the American version, and if more calm and accented on the plot, then Swedish.
