A time-tested recipe. Roast at home

What can I cook with meat? This question is often asked by the landlady. The dishes are huge, but every time I want to cook something original and tasty. Therefore, many people are looking for an unusual recipe. Roast at home is a time-tested and yet rare dish that many undeservedly ignore. It can be made from pork, beef, using various ingredients and spices.

To begin with, we offer a classic recipe. Roast at home - this is a delicious and satisfying dish. For its preparation, it will take about 800 grams of pork without bones. Meat must be washed, dried and cut into cubes of medium size. We put a frying pan on the fire and fry it, but without adding oil.

Meanwhile, potatoes (10 pieces of medium size) must be cleaned and cut into cubes. Two bulbs and the same carrots cut into small cubes. For cooking we use pots, but in case of absence, you can take a pan, preferably with a thick bottom. We put onions and carrots on the bottom of each pot. Then you need to put one small leaf of laurel and two peas of sweet pepper. We put fried meat on top and then potatoes. Seasonings, salt and pepper are added at will. Then spread the sliced tomatoes. Fill the pots with a hot broth. From above you can sprinkle with cheese. Roast at home from pork we send to the oven. It is prepared for about an hour at a temperature of not less than 220 degrees. Here's a simple recipe.


Roast in a home can be prepared from beef. In this case, the cooking time may change. Put it out until it is completely ready. When serving, sprinkle the dish on top with sliced greens and garlic.

Instead of tomatoes you can take tomato paste. It is added when roasting meat along with the broth. Then spread the carrots, onions and potatoes, stew until ready. You can also fry potatoes and other ingredients a little.
For a greater flavor and full disclosure of taste, it is recommended to pour a tablespoon of cognac before the end.

How to cook a roast at home in a multivark? It's much easier. Initially, we prepare all the necessary ingredients. 400 grams of pork cut into cubes. 800 grams of potatoes are peeled and cut also in small cubes. One Bulgarian pepper is released from the peduncle and seeds and cut into cubes and straws. Onions (1 head) are cut into smaller cubes. Then we put the meat and onion in the multivark. Do not forget to pour a little vegetable oil into the container. Fry these two ingredients in baking mode for about 20 minutes. Then add sweet pepper and two tablespoons of tomato paste. Then we mix everything well. After that, pour the potatoes and all the necessary spices (pepper as sweet and black, salt, mustard in the grains, marjoram, basil, thyme and sweet paprika).

We set the baking mode for 60 minutes and wait for the dish to be ready. This is a classic recipe. Roast at home can be cooked on a stove, in an oven or in a multivark. But the result is equally delicious.
