A delicious recipe: "Tsipiliny". Secrets of cooking

Traditional Lithuanian food called "tsipiliny" (or "zeppelins") resembles ordinary potato zrazy. They are stuffed with minced meat and other goodies, and served to the table along with a special dressing.

Ingredients :

  • 10 large potatoes;
  • 3 onions;
  • spice;
  • starch;
  • dill;
  • 500 g any minced meat.

Preparation

Mix it with two finely chopped bulbs and salt. Put out the meat filling in a frying pan until almost ready. A small slice of potato paste, take it in your hand, spread it on the palm of your hand and lay it in the center of the stuffing. Form the patties. Fry them on both sides in vegetable oil. Should appear golden fragrant crust. Then transfer the cepilins into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add a little water and simmer on low heat until cooked. Bon Appetit.

For 6-8 servings you will need the following ingredients :

  • 600 g of pork-beef minced meat;
  • 1 egg;
  • 500 g of onion;
  • Condiments;
  • 5 kilograms of potatoes.

For the sauce, take :

  • 200 g of fat;
  • 150 g of sour cream;
  • ½ kg of onion.

Recipe

Grind the onion well and add it to the meat. In the ground, put the spices. Mix everything well. 1 kg of potatoes boil in a uniform. Clean the remaining part and grate on a fine grater. Obtain the resulting potato mass through gauze. Drain the vodka, and put the starch left on the bottom in a small bowl. Peel potatoes in a uniform and stir to make a homogeneous sticky mass. Add starch, egg, salt and mix well. The resulting mixture is combined with raw pressed potatoes. Stir. From the dough, form lozenges.

Recipe for "Tsipiliny" involves the use of minced meat as the main filling. In the middle of the flat cake put a little twisted meat. Connect the edges to make a "patty." Fill a large saucepan to half with water. Wait for the boil, then salt. One by one, put the zeppelins into the pan. Wait until they are on the water surface, and then simmer for another 20 minutes.

Recipe for "Tsipiliny" will be incomplete without sauce. In this case, we will prepare sour cream sauce.
