6 guides to different types of meditation

Today's world is full of stress, and one of the best ways to get rid of it is meditation. It allows you to clear your mind, relax and recharge your energy to start everything from scratch, act as efficiently and achieve the best results. However, many people are afraid of such terms as "mantra" and "asana", so they prefer to bypass yoga and meditation side. But you should not be frightened, since there is no obligation in this matter - your task is to focus on something that is detached from your problems, to establish an even and calm breathing - and enjoy peace. You do not need to read several volumes of theoretical materials - enough will be a small introductory guide.

There is no right way to meditate

As already mentioned above, it is impossible to meditate properly, because there is no statute, a model with which one could compare the result. This is your individual method of gaining inner harmony, therefore, contrary to the popular belief that it is necessary to be able to meditate, in reality it is simply impossible. Just as there is no right way for how the river will flow into the ocean - the general principle remains the same, but in fact there are hundreds of methods of meditation, each of which will be right for the individual. In doing so, you can focus on any objects that can bring you peace and tranquility - it can be both an object of the environment, and the face of a loved one, breathing, visual images, feelings and emotions. The most important thing is to meditate every day, even if it's a thirty-second concentration on the color of the leaves on the tree on the way to work or minute breath control while you wait in line for the doctor. No matter how busy you are, how busy your schedule is, you need to learn how to keep a little meditation on your day, so that every day your inner calmness grows and expands.

How to become a silent witness of your thoughts

One of the most popular methods of meditation is to focus directly on the very process of thinking, that is, you do not need third-party objects to meditate - you will have enough of your thoughts. But for this you need to do a few steps. First, you need to make sure that you are aware of your thinking process - you can imagine how a thought arises in your head, how it is there and so on. In the second step, you will need to disconnect from your body, as if you are in a dream and watching yourself from the side. Now you can become a noiseless witness of your thoughts. Now you can independently explore your own thoughts as a scientist examines in the laboratory samples. In the course of this process, you will find that in reality a huge number of your thoughts are unproductive and destructive. In the end, you come to the last step - you need to make every effort to replace negative and unproductive thoughts with those that will make you happy and increase your productivity. This process can be repeated as many times as necessary, so that each time a bad thought becomes a little less.

Anxiety is a heavy stone

Very many people try to escape from a state of anxiety, nervousness, but this can sometimes be extremely difficult. You can also use meditation for this. Imagine that your anxiety is the big stone that lies on your chest. Your nervousness, cries and other impulsive actions do not affect this stone in any way - it stays in place. Accordingly, you need to reverse the approach. This method of meditation is that you calm down and touch this huge and heavy stone, feel its texture, its edges, its shape. When you do this, you will find that in practice this stone, which you now know thoroughly, is not so large and heavy, and you can easily get rid of it without problems.

Practice of pacification

Sometimes it is very difficult for a person to find inner peace and tranquility. What can be done with this? Meditation can help you here, only this time you will need certain actions - they may not carry direct benefit, do not have obvious impact, but in the end turn out to be incredibly productive. First, you need to make a paper crane and give it to someone. Then you need to light a candle for all the people who gave their lives in the struggle for peace on earth. Also you can fill in and send a postcard to your beloved person, who is now in a depressed state or experiencing a difficult period. Still you can spend time or money on anything that brings good to this world - for example, to help homeless people or save the forest. Well, of course, spend at least five minutes a day to show love for yourself - only so you can find inner peace.

There's nothing wrong with breathing

Many people are so in a hurry to accomplish something and achieve something, that they forget everything in the world. But sometimes there is nothing wrong with the fact that during the day you did nothing productive except breathing. However, breathing allows dear people to know that you are still alive. Every time you breathe in, you have a new idea. And every time you breathe out, the old insult goes away. Breathing is also an activity, and even it can be incredibly productive.

Get rid of bad mood

A bad mood is very often the cause of many problems, declines in productivity and so on. Therefore, through meditation, you need to learn to get rid of bad mood as soon as possible. Let your imaginary double extract the entire negative right from your chest, and then make funny figures of it. Also you can illustrate your bad mood, and when you finish - burn the illustration. Another great way is to try to explain your bad mood to someone unreal, imaginary.
