11 rules, how to find peace of mind

Internal harmony, tranquility and order, general mental equilibrium are the desired states of each person. Our life basically passes like a swing - from negative emotions to a state of joy, euphoria, and back.

How can we find and hold the equilibrium point, so that the world is perceived positively calmly, nothing annoyed, not frightened, but the present moment brought inspiration and joy? And is it possible to find a long-term balance? Yes, it is possible! Moreover, along with tranquility comes real freedom and a simple happiness to live.

These are simple rules, and they work rigorously. You just have to stop thinking, HOW to change, and start APPLYING them.

1. Stop asking: "Why did this happen to me?" Ask yourself another question: "What happened remarkable? What good can this turn out for me? "Good is for sure, you just need to see it. Any problem can turn out to be a real gift from above, if we consider it as a chance, and not as punishment or injustice.

2. Give thanks. Every evening, sum up: for what you can say "thank you" to the past day. If you lose peace of mind - remember those good things that you have, and about what you can thank for life.

3. Load the body with physical exercises. Remember that the brain most actively produces "hormones of happiness" (endorphins and enkephalins) precisely during physical training. Therefore, if you are overcome by problems, anxiety, insomnia - go to the street and walk for several hours. A quick step or run will distract from sad thoughts, saturate the brain with oxygen and raise the level of positive hormones.

4. Develop a "vigorous posture" and think of yourself a happy pose. The body can wonderfully help when you need to regain composure. It "remembers" a sense of joy, if you just straighten your back, spread your shoulders, happily stretch and smile. Consciously hold yourself for a while in this position, and you will see that the thoughts in your head become more calm, confident and happy.

5. Return to the "here and now" state. A simple exercise helps to get rid of anxiety: look around, focus on what you see. Start mentally "voice" the picture, inserting as many words as possible "now" and "here." For example: "I'm walking down the street, the sun is shining here. Now I see a man, he carries yellow flowers ... ", etc. Life consists only of moments "now", do not forget about it.

6. Do not exaggerate your problems. After all, if you even bring a fly close to your eyes, it will get the size of an elephant! If some experience seems insurmountable to you, think, as if ten years have already passed ... How many problems had been before - you solved them all. Therefore, this trouble will pass, do not dive into it with your head!

7. Laugh more. Try to find something funny in the current state of affairs. It does not work out - then just find a reason for sincere laughter. Look funny movie, remember the funny case. The power of laughter is simply amazing! Mental equilibrium often returns after a good dose of humor.

8. Goodbye more. Insults are like heavy, foul-smelling stones that you carry around with you everywhere. What peace of mind can be with such a load? So do not hold evil. People are just people, they can not be perfect and always carry only good. So forgive the abusers and forgive yourself.

9. Give and give. There is always something that can be shared with others - attention, time, money, good deeds. True peace of mind can not come from a person who lives only for himself. Look around - life always provides an opportunity to take care of other people. It brings inner peace and joy.

10. Communicate more. Any pain hidden inside, multiplies and brings new sad fruits. Therefore, share your experiences, discuss them with loved ones, seek support from them. Do not forget that a person is not meant for loneliness. Mental balance can be found only in close relationships - friendly, loving, kindred.

11. Pray and meditate. Do not let bad evil thoughts control you, sow panic, pain and irritation. Change them to short prayers - appealing to God or meditating - a state of non-thought. Stop the uncontrolled flow of internal conversation. This is the basis of a good and stable state of mind.
