What is communication and how it helps to succeed

Our life is inconceivable without communication. Man - a being social, outside of society, his life in the majority does not matter. And communication, the definition of which representatives of psychology, philosophy, sociology and other sciences reduces to different types of interaction between people, in many respects matters when thinking through the plan for success.

Many seek to achieve certain results in their careers, family life, the upbringing of children, friendship, the desire to become famous and achieve other goals that are considered to be a success in society. At the same time, everyone understands what communication is, and how it can affect the positive or negative outcome of activities aimed at success in general.

Communication (definition of psychologists) is an exchange of thoughts and knowledge, accumulated experience in one area or another, feelings between two or more people. And for communication to be effective, it is worthwhile to plan and build dialogues correctly, to know the features and types of such concepts as communication and communication. Naturally, this knowledge should be applied to achieve success in life.

Classify the types of communication in different ways. Depending on the content component, this process can be the exchange of some products of human activity (material), the exchange of accumulated knowledge (cognitive) and skills and communication skills (communication of activities). Also, psychologists distinguish between motivational communication, when the participants in the process exchange their goals, dreams and needs, interests, and conditioning - when between participants there is an exchange of special physiological or mental states.

For the purposes that are supposed to be achieved in the course of communication, there are two of its varieties: biological - it is aimed at satisfying the needs of the body and social, strengthening the communicative features of man. It is clear that such communication will promote personal growth and achieve the goals that lead to the success of a person in life.

People can communicate with the help of verbal (verbal) means and dumb (non-verbal). Speech includes oral and written speech, and to dumb ones - accompanying gestures, facial expressions, tempo, timbre coloring of the speaker's voice, diction. Very important in communicating and such non-verbal means as the position of the participant in the conversation in space, active or buying up gesticulation, appearance and even a smell. The individual perceives verbal information with the help of reason, and sometimes he is able to understand the non-verbal information only intuitively.

Thus, communication is a complex of different means and ways by which a person tries to convey certain information to the interlocutor or a certain number of people. His goal should be exactly the right communication, which can lead to the desired result: for example, to convince the meeting or meeting participants of the need to address the issue in exactly the way that the speaker suggests. It is known that such communication will not be effective without special training: the person who wants to succeed will necessarily learn sign language and look attentively at the mimicry of the interlocutor, and will be able to determine by appearance what to expect from his opponent.

Of course, verbal means of communication are also built according to a certain principle. It is necessary to be able to speak and listen. What is verbal communication? These are words: spoken and heard, written and read, suggestive, requiring reflection. With their help, thoughts or goals are expressed. To make these words understandable to the majority of listeners or readers, you need to know not only literate speech and know the rules of the language, but also be able to effectively present these words, place accents somewhere, somewhere to sharpen your attention. If a person wants to succeed in life, then he should master the science of presenting his thoughts and feelings with the help of a speech in communication.
