Zucchini stuffed: the recipe for cooking a delicious dish

Have you ever wondered about what can be done with zucchini? If not, you can try to cook these vegetables in a stuffed form, stuffing them with meat, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. This dish you can make quite quickly, and no special skills will be required.

So, the zucchini stuffed: the recipe for cooking

You will need:

- 2 large zucchini, about 30 centimeters in length;

- 4 tablespoons of olive oil;

- half a glass of onion, peeled and finely chopped;

- 1 green pepper, finely chopped and peeled from seeds;

- 2 tablespoons of garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped;

- 0.5 kg of ground beef or chopped pork;

- 2 tablespoons of tea basil;

- 450 grams of tomato sauce;

- 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, chopped.

Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Spray the baking tray with vegetable oil or cover with aluminum foil / parchment paper.

Fry the onions and peppers green in 2 teaspoons of olive oil on a non-stick frying pan. Cook for 4 minutes or until the ingredients begin to soften. Add chopped garlic and fry together for another minute. Transfer the resulting mass into a bowl. As you can see, the recipe for stuffed zucchini in the oven requires little preparation.

Pour the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a frying pan and put it on a small fire. Fold the beef or pork minced. Stir the meat over medium heat until it is well browned. Drain the excess fat from the frying pan by shifting the cooked mince into a colander, located above the sink. Put newspapers or paper towels under it to absorb the oil (so as not to pour the draining of the sink, as this is bad for sewer systems).

As soon as the fat is drained, return the meat to the frying pan. Add the onion, pepper, garlic and tomato sauce fried in oil. Stir all the ingredients together until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Fry over low heat for 10 minutes. Remove the frying pan from the burner. Allow the meat mixture to cool to room temperature.

Cut each vegetable along into 2 halves, and then into pieces 5 centimeters wide. Using a teaspoon, get the seeds out of them in such a way that they resemble a plate in shape. Fold prepared zucchini on oiled (foil-covered) pan.

Add 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella grated cheese to a chilled mixture of meat and vegetables. Using a spoon, place the filling inside each "vessel" laid out on a baking sheet.

Preparing this dish in the oven for 20 minutes. After this, take out the pan and sprinkle the finished vegetables with grated cheese. Put it back in the oven and bake for another 15 minutes. Check this dish as follows: pierce the courgettes with a fork or tip of an acute knife. If the pulp is easily pierced - everything is ready.

This recipe for stuffed zucchini suggests serving on the table in hot form, immediately after cooking. In addition, all of the above tips are suitable for similar cooking pumpkin. You can also replace the tomato sauce with a paste if desired.
