Moral commandments were always necessary for all people, and for lawyers too. A lawyer needs to make a career, ie, to win a good name, reputation. And this can not be achieved without a whole system of ethical principles that a lawyer must follow throughout the long journey of his professional career. Ethics lawyer, it is the system, not just good qualities separately from each other.

Let's now consider only two, but, as I consider the most important principle in the system.

Honesty . We consider this quality of the lawyer in the conduct of various kinds of cases. From complex (criminal cases) to civil and administrative. Although there are no simple cases, especially for those who apply for protection, there is no such thing. Laziness, improper fulfillment of obligations, not punctuality-all this for the name of the lawyer is murderous.

A lawyer in criminal cases is responsible for the fate of people, therefore inferior protection is immoral, and violates the ethics of lawyers. It is not enough to know this case, it is necessary to study up to the end any problem related to it, thoroughly study the literature, get acquainted with judicial practice. This work will pay off not only in resolving the existing conflict situation, but will also provide the lawyer with an invaluable baggage of knowledge.

Only if the lawyer has thoroughly studied all the nuances of the case, competently built a defensive line and made everything possible for his client-can be considered a professional. All these ethical qualities I saw at each of the lawyers of the Moscow Bar Association "Title."
