There is an extraordinary grape valley in Georgia. Of the 4,000 varieties of grapes known to people, in the Alazani Valley grown 550. The climate there is ideal, the bunches are quickly poured with juice. The bouquet of wine is blossoming just as slowly and majestically as the tail of a peacock pictured on the company's logo. Wine "Pirosmani" is made from such grapes. It is based on the Saperavi brand, famous for its qualities. After separation from the grapes, the grapes remain roaming along with the pulp to the required level of the fortress. The fermentation process is stopped by cooling the wort. After that, the wine is defended and the process of pasteurization passes. By the way, other elite wines of Georgia are prepared from this sort of grapes .

Experts say that Pirosmani red wine has a rich pomegranate color. Unlike the usual for many wines of similar varieties, the Pirosmani shade has cold violet impurities.

The density of the wine is average, it slowly flows down the sides of the glass, leaving a trace.

The drink has a full, rich bouquet, in which cherry notes are clearly felt. Some connoisseurs even talk about the taste of cherries in cognac.

Wine from a clay pitcher

Today, wine is not only stored and insisted in clay at the manufacturing plant, but even sometimes it is sold in it. Many Georgian wines are made in unusual dishes reminiscent of an old, made by hand. For "Pirosmani" two unique bottles were developed - a classical form and quite unusual, flattened, decorated with stucco decor.

Looking at this vessel, you might think that he was sculpting a potter somewhere in a sunlit mountain valley. Of course, such goods do not go to every wine store, and it costs relatively cheaply.

Niko Pirosmani and his paintings

Another of the legends, which has always been full of every standing wine, concerns its name. The wine was given its name in honor of the Georgian primitivist artist, who lived at the turn of the past and before last century.

Niko Pirosmani's paintings are often used for decorating labels of the same name. Reproductions are often present in interior decoration of wine cellars and restaurants of Georgian cuisine around the world.

The artist sang in his creations and wonderful mountain nature of Georgia, and fidelity to the traditions of winemaking, and traditional hospitality and hospitality in those parts. He touched on the themes of the culture of consumption of good wine, when the goal is not a strong degree, but taste and aroma. And, of course, a good company of like-minded people who can share the pleasure of a noble drink.
