Why there is a braking video?

Surely, all users of the Internet are already accustomed to the fact that on the pages of numerous sites there is the opportunity to watch videos. And almost everyone knows such an unpleasant effect as a braking video.

Major hardware problems

Like any other electronic device, the computer can also be susceptible to breakdowns. Most often, one of the devices ceases to function normally, however, not only the slowing video appears, but also other hangs. But there are situations when it is shown on video clips viewed through the Internet. The reasons can be in the RAM or the processor. Here, only their replacement will help.

If the video slots on the Internet, then another reason may be a video card. Even if it functions normally (ie, the monitor shows an image), it does not mean that it is working at full power. In this case, you need to check the drivers on the video card - they may have been damaged, not installed, or obsolete.

If the video you watch is of high quality (for example, HD), then there are cases of lack of hardware resources. There are a number of requirements for devices, failure of which leads to the deceleration of high-quality video. It will also help only the replacement of computer components.

By the way, the higher the quality of the video, the higher the speed of the Internet is required. Therefore, a low speed connection to the network also leads to the braking of the video: it does not have time to load in a timely manner. You just need to put the video on pause and wait for its full download.

Braking video: software problems

If drivers are installed on all necessary devices, they all work correctly and are the newest, then, most likely, the whole reason is software. What should be checked first? And the first thing to do is to pay attention to the plug-in to the Internet browser, which displays the video from the pages. Most often today is used Flash Player, which from time to time can fail. However, the browser itself can behave "inadequately."

In order to find out whether the plugin or the browser works badly, you can use the task manager. Press Ctrl, Shift, Esc at the same time. Go to the top tab "Processes" and find the name of your browser (for example, Opera.exe, Chrome.exe, etc.), look in the "CPU" and "Memory". If you have a total of 1 GB of RAM (for example, 1048576 KB), then the too big number in this section (about 30-40% of the total memory, in kilobytes) indicates that the browser or plug-in hangs. If in the "CPU" section the percentage rises to 80-90%, it also means that the browser or plug-in hangs to it.

The first step is to change the browser and go back to the "Task Manager". If the picture repeats - update, or reinstall the plugin, downloading it only from the official site. You can also try to clear your browser's cache , Coockie files and remove all other plug-ins from it.

Sometimes even after that, the braking video can remain so. In this case, you should pay attention to the possibility of infection with viruses on your computer. Typically, viruses also severely hamper the whole system or any particular program - in this case your browser. You should scan the system with the updated latest antivirus databases.

If you continue to lag video on the Internet, the last reason for this may be the operating system itself. This is also a very common problem. Braking video can appear as a result of the fact that the OS improperly processes video streams, requests from various programs, etc. (There are many reasons). In this case, you need to reinstall the OS or restore it completely.

So, having solved all the above-mentioned problems, you can eliminate the reasons for the hang of the video. But in many cases, a simple reboot of the computer can also help.
