Who is an extrovert: a look from socionics

Socionics is a branch of psychology, according to which all people can be conditionally divided into sixteen types. Each type has its own unique combination of qualities:

  • Logic or ethics;
  • Intuit or sensor;
  • Rational or irrational;
  • Extrovert or introvert.

Who is an extrovert, you do not need to explain it once again. These people are always happy to make new acquaintances, can not live without communication, human society is just as necessary to them as air. However, let's move away from the generally accepted definitions for a few minutes and try to find out who is an extrovert from the point of view of socionics, and also how this feature manifests itself in different socionic types.

In total there are 8 types of extroverts: Jack London, Stirlitz, Hugo, Hamlet, Zhukov, Napoleon, Huxley and Don Quixote.

Jack London (Logical-intuitive extrovert)

Representatives of this type can rarely sit still, they constantly crave new impressions - not only in terms of communication, but also in terms of work. Any business in Jack's hands literally "boils." Often Jack is fearless. In combination with innate romanticism, it provides him with a propensity for mountaineering, tourism and extreme rest. Jack is not particularly good at people, often cautious, for fear of appearing ridiculous.

Stirlitz (Logic-Sensory)

Stirlitz acts quickly, his actions always have a logical justification. Initiative, often quite pushy. He prefers not to talk about good things, focusing more on negativity. As a rule, Stirlitz considers the ability to obey the rules of dignity. Has a "restrained force" inherent in the military.

Hugo (ethical-sensory extrovert)

Typically, representatives of this type tend to experience vivid emotions, the idea can capture them once and for life. They are simply indefatigable, real "bunnies Duracell", which constantly rush from side to side. They like to receive guests. Hugo - attentive listeners and pleasant interlocutors, can always support. A bit conservative, like the order.

Hamlet (ethical-intuitive)

Hamlet is focused on global issues ("to be or not to be?"), Is inclined to see the world in dramatic colors. By nature - a romantic, often doubts and weighs ten times all the pros and cons before making any decision. Hamlet is attentive to people (sometimes even annoying), always ready to give a helping hand.

Zhukov (sensory-logical extravert)

Who is an extrovert under the guise of Zhukov? He is a man of decisive character, sometimes even hard. Good tactic. Do not give up before the difficulties, focuses on the final result. Zhukov does not like to talk about feelings, and negative emotions in general seeks to suppress as quickly as possible.

Napoleon (sensory-ethical)

He is really proud of his talent to influence people, to win their respect and love. Always active, eager for practical activity - boring theory is not for him. Often disappointed in people. To criticism is calm, but hates, when they start to demand something from him - Napoleon can be sent, but not suppressed.

Huxley (intuitive-ethical)

Huxley is dependent on his mood, like to improvise (and they get it!). They seek to gain emotional power over everyone, but at the same time remain independent. They are not prone to ambition, but are very receptive to the evaluation of their mental abilities, strive to show their intellectual potential in every possible way. In communication, they are often friendly and welcoming.

Don Quixote (intuitive-logical)

The last socionic type, which we will talk about under the theme "Who is an extrovert", is Don Quixote. He always sees prospects and opportunities, but he is often dissatisfied with what has already been achieved. Constantly in need of emotional "recharging" from the outside. A good leader, able to guide others in the right direction.
