For many people the eagle is a bird that has become a symbol of nobility and courage. And in natural conditions it is one of the most dangerous representatives of birds. Nothing poses a threat to the mighty bird, except the person.

The swing of the eagle's wings can reach 2.4 meters, and the speed of hovering in the air ranges from 190 to 240 km / h. Where do these amazing and brave birds live? Their main area is North America, Eurasia and Africa.

Eagles in the territory of Europe

Where do the eagles of Europe live and are they safe as a species? Unfortunately, not only in Europe, but on the whole planet there is very little of these noble birds. A careful account has been taken of the number of individuals in the European territory for a long time. Here pairs of eagles can be counted on the fingers.

The people of India believed that the eagle is a mythical being that can cause lightning with the help of a beak and thunder - wings. But no one thought that it requires protection. Now this bird is listed in the Red Book. And nowadays every schoolboy should know where the eagle lives.

The surrounding world (Grade 3) is a subject included in the compulsory curriculum. This is the discipline that will allow children to learn more about birds that need protection, and to understand how fragile the balance created by nature is.
