What is okolofutbol? The history of the movement and the consequences of football lawlessness

What is okolofutbol? Recently, this phrase is often found. And people associated with this sport in any way, perfectly know what it means. But many of its definition is still not clear. Well, it's worth it to fix it.

Definition

By okhotofutbolom (or how to shorten the word - PF) is called everything that happens outside the playing field. This fans, their fan traditions, songs, chants, banners and, of course, the most important thing - the disassembly between the adherents of different clubs. Fights, the blasting of firecrackers right on the stands, the firing of the flags of rivals - all this is okolofutbol. Furthermore! This is its main component.

What was listed at the beginning is peaceful near football, usual. But all the rest is anarchy, hooliganism and complete lawlessness. By the way, fans explain their movement as a separate subculture.

History

Talking about what is okolofutbol, one can not help noting the attention and history. The origins of such phenomena are always interesting to study.

In principle, when the sport itself appeared, then the football appeared. Definition of this, of course, entered into the life of the fans much later, but the outrage among fans was noticed in the first half of the XIX century in England. Even in those distant times ardent admirers of competing clubs were going, as they say, "wall to wall" after the game ended. But that hooliganism, which exists to this day, appeared later - in the middle of the last century everything is the same in England.

Why did this kind of lawlessness continue to flourish? It's simple. The working youth had no other entertainment than football. It was considered the most affordable in terms of price. But over time, young people began to miss the usual pain in the stands. And soccer violence began to emerge. By the mid-sixties, the English stands were more than two-thirds full of bespredelschikami. And it's not surprising that every second match ended in scuffles and fights. With this, nothing could be done about it, and therefore even some areas of cities where crazy fans for fights were going to have been declared forbidden zones.

Effects

That's the kind of movement "Okruobokbutal" story. But it if in brief. All about okolofutbole and football hooliganism can not be told. However, it is necessary to mention the consequences.

Take, for example, the Eiselle tragedy. It occurred in 1985 at the stadium "Eisel" in Belgium. Because of these football English hooligans then during the match between Juventus and Liverpool (the European Cup final was finished), the wall of one of the stands came crashing down. And as a result, 39 people died (mostly Italians), many wounded. Of course, people were not returned. Therefore, UEFA decided to remove all English clubs for five years from taking part in European cups. "Liverpool" was given a year more. But there was one plus. Since the game was broadcasted to the whole world, the tragedy was seen by all the people who watched it. And it was a shock to many hooligans. Most realized what football anarchy could lead to, and returned to normal life.

Slang

So, the above was rather detailed about what okolofootbol is. And now you can note with special attention slang, which is actively used by fans of fanfare.

So, for example, the words "armature", "argument" and "iron" are called bottles, brass knuckles, sticks, stones, as well as other devices for fighting, which are used in it by agreement of each side. "Charge" is a chant. A "kezuals" - fans dressed in ordinary clothes, without club symbols. The word "derby" means a match with a principal rival. Commentators also actively use the term, which has already become a classic. Fantômas, dwarfs and pioneers are usually called young fans.

Performance is a show organized on the stands. And Omonovsk-City - Nizhny Novgorod, so it was interestingly nicknamed him. And the ugly word "Perdyaevka" refers to cities that are very far away and unattractive for traveling. And, finally, "kuzmich" is a person who understands the culture of fans.

The modern stage

In general, as it was possible to understand, lawlessness and anarchy - that's what okolofootbol. And, unfortunately, this movement did not end. It exists everywhere, and in Russia too. A special heat of passion is observed between the fans of CSKA and "Spartacus." It seems that the true fans of the Moscow clubs hate each other.

By the way, okolofutbol left a trace in the mass culture. Many books have been written about this phenomenon. Bill Buford released the "English disease". Dougie Brimson wrote "Wherever We Go" and the book "The Team". The authorship of John King belongs to the "Football Factory" and "English Way". And Anthony Burgess released "Clockwork Orange".

There are many films. Some are based on the above-mentioned books. And in 2013, there was a Russian film called "Okruobotbutala." In the crowd participated real fans, and on the plot they fought for those clubs for which they are sick in life. And one of the episodes was shot right at the stadium during the derby of Spartak and CSKA.
