Personally, I have it excellent, and I can recall some events from early childhood. But you often hear from other people that their memory is bad. The reasons, I tell you, can be different. In particular, such negative statements a person who understands what memory is , should not do.

Remember how we first compared it to the organ of the inner man? When you say that you have a bad memory, then this statement is taken by this body for the truth and is recorded in the subconscious. It turns out a vicious circle: you say that memory is bad, and it is remembered by you with subsequent application in everyday life.

To start with people with such negative beliefs, I would advise you to change your words and try to praise your memory. Nevertheless, let's look at some other common causes of "bad" memory.

  • It can be a banal lack of proper interest in the subject or event. If you are interested in something, produces certain impressions, then it will be remembered without much difficulty. Just believe that your memory has a huge potential and try to approach the memorable subject with interest. You should tune in to change your attitude. Do not need to think: "How?", Just do it.
  • Inattention, lack of concentration skills, inability to control one's attention. You can not run away in all directions at once? If you need to remember something, you should learn to concentrate on one subject. Today there is an oversupply of all kinds of information. Special methods have been developed for memory training. They improve the ability to memorize the right information.
  • Maybe you just do not have enough vitamins or you eat wrong, and the brain needs normal nutrients for normal functioning.
  • Lack of oxygen, smoking, abuse of alcoholic beverages also adversely affect thinking processes.
  • Apathy, depression, poor health. Here comments are superfluous, since the poor state of the body clearly does not promote good memory.

Now you are more or less clear why there can be a bad memory. The reasons considered in this article are not the only ones. But they are the most common, therefore are given as the main ones. At least now, knowing these causes and influencing them, you can change the effect, that is, improve the quality of your memorization.
