What distinguishes Chinese clothing sizes from European

Whatever they say about Chinese-made things, no matter how much they scold the Celestial people for their poor quality, they seized the market firmly. And often when buying clothes, we are stopped not by the quality (or lack thereof), but by the Chinese clothing sizes.

But the way out, as always, is close! In particular, there are many tables that translate Chinese sizes into European, Russian, English and others. So you need only a little time and patience, and then everything will immediately become clear! Although, for example, many clothing stores personally provide their customers with tables with detailed explanations of the sizes.

Chinese clothing sizes are divided into two types. One focuses on growth, girth of the hips and chest, the second - on the girth of the hips, waist and chest. If we take the ratio "size = height-chest-hips", then the following will come out. 9AR = 158-83-91, 11AR = 158-86-93, 9AT = 166-83-93. Other dimensions can be found out by yourself.

As for the second type, then the Chinese clothing sizes are more understandable. So, all the usual "esque", "emka" and "Elka" do not cause questions. Lazy, LL, EL, 3L, which are next for them, can be puzzled by those whose waist circumference varies from 77 to 93. All of the above concerns the size of women's clothing, but there are also Chinese sizes for men!

Thus, the Russian 46 (S) corresponds to the Chinese 165 / 88-90, 54 (XXL) - 185 / 126-130. For more information, see the table of dimensions.

The size of Chinese shoes, too, can plunge into a trance, if you do not know what it's about. The thing is that the standard European shoe sizes correspond to two calculi. This is the length of the foot and the volume. It is in this order, it looks like this: 36 the size of the shoe is equal to the number 230/215, of which the first means the length of the foot in millimeters, the second is the girth.

Of course, when you buy Chinese things, you can not remember all the dimensions (unless you are a Chinese and do not sell Chinese clothes for 20 years). Therefore, it is best to make preliminary inquiries to find the right tables with dimensions, or even better, print out these tablets. Then, going shopping, you will not have problems like: "The thing is good, but what size is it?"

If we continue to compare Chinese clothing sizes and European, according to the principle of China-America-Europe, the following will come out. 7 / XS / 36, 9-11 / S / 38-40, 13-15 / M / 42-44, 17-19 / L / 46, 21-23 / XL / 48.

Of course, this is only a part of the sizes: so to speak, an illustrative example. In fact, Chinese clothing sizes are very diverse, depending on what kind of thing is in front of you. Their sizes are pants, underwear, shirts, jackets, coats, T-shirts, shoes ...

By the way, do not forget that Chinese things have one feature. They are usually small-sized. Therefore, if your size is much larger than the standard one in the direction of increase, it's unlikely that you will find yourself something made of a hardworking Chinese nation.

Therefore, no matter how hard you try to memorize, you learn the dimensions, it's better to measure things first. And what if you decided to order things via the Internet? As already mentioned above, many sites provide detailed information about the size of things. But if you are still afraid that you will not guess with the size, try to go to the nearest "Chinese" market. There you can try on what you are going to order, remember the size, and then - long live the Internet!

Well, as it turned out, it's not such a "terrible beast" - Chinese clothing sizes! If you approach with intelligence and common sense, then everything will turn out perfectly!
