Weapons of mass destruction - the threat of the whole planet

In our world, the development of science and various advanced technologies is welcomed. But at the same time, the production of weapons is also developing, bringing with them more wars and sacrifices. Mankind has learned to allocate the energy of the atom, has developed bacteriological weapons based on genetic engineering , using outstanding achievements in the field of chemistry, developed chemical weapons, thereby creating a catastrophic danger for the whole planet. Is it precisely weapons of mass destruction that are the highest aspiration of mankind?

What kind of weapon is this? What is fraught with its further development?

Weapons of mass destruction can destroy all life on the striking Vast territories. It was created and perfected during the period of scientific and technical competition between the two superpowers (the USA and the USSR) and became a "masterpiece" and the peak of armament.

  • It amazes with the scale of its operation with the scanty expenditure of forces, time and means.
  • Strikes objects up to destruction.
  • When used, counteraction and prevention of destructive effects is not possible.
  • After the defeat, restoration and treatment of objects becomes difficult, time-consuming, long-lasting, and sometimes impossible.
  • Has a long striking effect.
  • Regardless of the species, its use is detrimental to the psyche.
  • Using only one set of such weapons, you can destroy a huge number of people.

Weapons of mass destruction are divided into three types - nuclear, chemical, biological. Each of the three species is deadly in its own way.

Nuclear weapons are based on the intranuclear energy released during the explosion. When used, nuclear weapons strike with a shock wave, penetrating radiation, light radiation and radioactive contamination of the terrain. After a nuclear explosion tens of years will be needed to partially restore the ecology. The changed ecosystem will lead to more terrible consequences.

The chemical weapons of mass destruction are more "quiet" than the explosive nuclear, but not less dangerous. It acts on the basis of poisonous substances (toxic gases, liquids, smoke and fog), affecting all living things, infecting the terrain, food and water. And they are divided into:

  • Nervously-paralytic;
  • Skin-blistering;
  • Common poison;
  • Suffocating;
  • Annoying;
  • Psychoactive groups.

Bacteriological weapons are biological agents - fungi, viruses, bacteria, which are spread by living infected vectors. Such means are, for example, the causative agents of plague, anthrax, cholera, influenza, malaria and so on.

Striving for world domination, humanity, which created weapons of mass Defeat, faced with an even more difficult problem. Dreaming of quick victories, people forgot about their planet. After using their horrific creation, people kill not only each other, but the entire planet, devastating vastly large territories and making them unfit for further use for the benefit of the human. Modern weapons of mass destruction can be the last "drop" of the destructive impact of man on fragile ecology.

People, think about it! Is this really the future that you prepare for your descendants?
