We treat prostatitis. Symptoms of prostatitis

Prostatitis is a fairly common urological disease that affects men of all age categories. Prostatitis is the swelling of the prostate and the inflammation of its tissues.

It can develop because of a sedentary image, frequent constipation, sedentary work, hypothermia, sexual abstinence or, conversely, excessive sexual activity, inflammatory chronic diseases of the body, suffered venereal or urological diseases, physical overstrain, malnutrition, chronic stress, lack of sleep.

Prostatitis, the symptoms of which can be very different, is divided into the following main groups: acute bacterial, chronic bacterial, chronic asymptomatic and inflammatory pelvic pain syndrome.

Bacterial acute prostatitis, the symptoms of which are increased body temperature, chills, back pain and inguinal area, frequent urge to urinate, during which even purulent discharge is possible - not a very pleasant disease.

Acute prostatitis is treated with antibiotics that penetrate well into the tissues of the prostate gland. The most effective antibiotic that is used in the treatment of this disease is ciprofloxacin. Treatment, often, is carried out on an outpatient basis, and those patients who have signs of intoxication are hospitalized. Surgical treatment is performed for patients who experience acute urinary retention, in this case, puncture epicystostomy is required.

Chronic prostatitis, the symptoms of which slightly differ from previous species, develops after acute form. In the genitals, perineum and rectum appear aching pain, which after a long sitting become stronger and after exercise or prolonged walking subsided. The patient feels a burning sensation during urination. Men with this form of prostatitis do not sleep well at night and become irritable. If this form of prostatitis is not treated, then because of it can develop inflammation of neighboring organs and infertility.

Chronic prostatitis is treated on an outpatient basis. In the process, antibiotics are used, candles are applied, thermal procedures are carried out. The doctor can prescribe prostate massage and additionally reflexotherapy. A man with chronic prostatitis needs to lead an active lifestyle, excluding alcoholic beverages and spicy food from the diet.

Asymptomatic chronic prostatitis, whose symptoms are virtually invisible, are treated with antiviral and anti-inflammatory drugs. The clinical picture of asymptomatic chronic prostatitis is similar in many respects to prostate cancer.

Sexually transmitted infections also play a significant role in the occurrence of the prostate. Intra-stasis stagnant processes can also cause inflammation. Stagnant processes contribute to: frequent constipation, sexual abstinence, lack of physical activity. Artificial lengthening of the sexual intercourse or its interruption also have a disastrous effect on the prostate.

Antibiotic therapy is by far the most effective method of treatment. Often, this therapy is combined with physiotherapeutic treatments: prostate massage, thermal procedures, leech treatment, reflexology. Prostatitis, the symptoms of which are very painful, are treated well and effectively by phytotherapy.

In any case, it is worth to get rid of the disease, so if you notice the first symptoms of prostatitis, immediately consult a urologist who, after a preliminary examination, will prescribe the optimal treatment for the prostate.
