Evgeny Ustyugov: biography, childhood

The future biathlonist appeared on this light in 1985, on June 4, in the wonderful city of Krasnoyarsk. It can be confidently asserted that Zhenya received his ability to sport even before his birth. After all, his parents were quite famous athletes at the time. And so, when two boys were born in the Ustyug family, parents immediately began to develop their physical development. Starting from the age of three, Ustyugov and his brother practiced daily with them. Becoming older, the boy began to be actively involved in mountain climbing.

The school years of Eugene were quite fun and varied. He was a very active child. No sporting event could not do without his participation. It was at one of the competitions in 1997 that he was seen by the biathlon trainer, the wife of Viktor Yermakov. Having seen good abilities in the boy, she offered him to try his hand at this kind of winter sport.

The further way

What does Eugene Ustyugov do after graduation? It seemed clear that he would enter the physical culture department. But the young man does not manage to do this by the will of fate. And he becomes a student at the Divnogorsk College of the Olympic Reserve. Having studied for several years, Zhenya decided to continue his studies at the forest engineering faculty, which he managed to graduate with honors in 2010.

Beginning of sports activities

When did biathlon enter the life of the future athlete? Ustyugov Eugene during his training was a participant in the competition, which in 2005 took place in Finland. Participating in individual races, the young man managed to take 12, in races with persecution - 36, and during the sprint - 42 place. A year later, after improving his sports skills, Zhenya goes to the World Cup, which this time was held in New York. Surprisingly all, he managed to take the prize stage of the pedestal in the pursuit race. On the relay, Zhenya was second, and in the sprint showed the fourth result. It is from this year that the career of the future champion begins to gain momentum and develop rapidly.

Star stages of sports career

Evgeny Ustyugov is a biathlete, who achieved high results. The next important competition for the athlete is the European Cup 2006-2007. During the sprint Ustyugov takes 12th place, while he lags behind the winner for only 3 minutes. In the pursuit race, Zhenya was already second. Here he did not have 25 seconds to finish, despite the fact that he was separated from the victory by only one miss on the target.

When the second stages of the cup began, the young man had to work hard. His efforts crowned the 25th place in the sprint race. From the winner, he fell behind for a minute and a half and made only 3 misses. In the next sprint Ustyugov takes 50th place, while behind the main rival for almost 3 minutes. These failures did not break the young biathlonist. This, on the contrary, served as an incentive for more fruitful work.

Traveling around the world

Taking part in many tournaments and championships, Evgeni had to spend quite a lot of time outside the house. Nevertheless, relations with his relatives did not deteriorate. Ustyugov always felt the support of his parents and friends. Having visited many parts of the Earth, Zhenya learned a lot of new things, which gave him even more strength for the struggle.

The World Cup, which was held in Bulgaria in 2007, pleasantly pleased all the fans of Eugene. Here he took 20 place, and he had only one mistake, and the distance from his rival reached a distance of 2 minutes and 40 seconds. When the relay took place, together with the team the biathlete managed to take the 5th place, which greatly increased the enthusiasm of the beginning athlete.

In the winter of 2007, Ustyugov flew back home to take part in competitions, which were called "Izhevsk rifle". This time he managed to win the second place. The break with the main competitor was 39 seconds.

After that, Zhenya goes to the World Cup in Norway. The sportsman can not win victorious titles, but, nevertheless, he declares himself as a pretty strong opponent, which should not be underestimated.

Already in 2008 Ustyugov is rehabilitated at the Russian Championship, he deservedly wins a silver medal. After that, he manages to take the first place in the European Cup. Then he won the competition without making a single miss. The victory was brilliant this time!

A year later the athlete goes to the World Cup in Oberhof. In the pursuit race, he manages to become the seventh, and on the sprint - to take the 8th place.

Yevgeny Ustyugov is a popular favorite!

The XXI Olympic Games became a debut for Eugene. Only there he was able to declare himself as a strong participant. Although he was opposed by pretty serious opponents, he takes 15th place during the sprint, in the pursuit race Zhenya finished fifteenth in the general list.

The gold Olympic medal adorned the athlete's chest on February 21 at a mass start. Thanks to his efforts and work, the biathlete bypasses all his rivals and in a short time reaches the victorious finish. After the games, Eugene was awarded the Order of Friendship.

In the spring of 2011 Ustyugov together with S. Sleptsova took the honorable first place in the World Team Challenge.

Eugene to this day continues to actively train and take part in many competitions. Most recently, he was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports.

Personal life of Ustyugov

Despite a busy schedule, Eugene managed to create a strong family. With his future wife, he meets at regular competitions. Ulyugova's choice is Alexander Bondarev, an athlete. A few years after the acquaintance, young people play a wedding. And already in 2010, Evgeny's daughter Veronica is born. The biathlete's wife decides to end his sports career and give himself up to family troubles. When the baby was 3 years old, Dad already put it on skis. In the winter of 2014, a second daughter, Eugenia, was born. With his family, he tries to spend a lot of time, and he does it perfectly!
