In the lower part of the small influx of the Fast Pine - Vorgoles, which is ten kilometers from Yelets, there are two objects that cause a heightened interest among tourists. At the foot of this stone formation there is an entrance to the cave. Many old-timers say that the labyrinths inside the cave stretch for 3-5 kilometers, and in its deep dungeon leads several half-buried passages.

This rock lies on the right bank of the Vorgol River, its area is 9.5 hectares. Visually, it seems that the mountain is covered, as it were, by huge slabs of limestone. From the top down it is cut by a gorge, at the bottom of which there is an entrance to the cave. Inside it there is an 8-meter corridor that leads deep into the rock. It constantly narrows and on the 40th meter it turns into a narrow mink.

The Vorgol Valley

The height of individual rocks in the valley reaches 20-25 meters - this is Lysias, Big Kichi, Ravens and Smoked Stones. Vorgolsky rocks are a shelter for 7 species of fern, lichen, oak and lime tree. Near the foot of the cliffs are lush meadows.

The world of fauna is also quite diverse. This region is inhabited by a butterfly brazier, as well as several species of bumblebees: reddish, steppe and mossy, gray. Here live wild bees - Tatar and Tatar hills, and their range is the Caucasus, the Urals, Western Europe. There are different kinds of vertebrates.

How to get from Moscow by car

As already mentioned, the unique Vorgol cliffs are located in the Lipetsk region, 10 km from the district center Yelets. To get to these amazing places from Moscow, you first need to go to Voronezh (360 km) along the M4 highway. You arrive at Yelets, and after the traffic police post you need to drive about 1.5 km and turn right to the "Key of Life". Further, the road will lie through the railway tracks, and after the crossing you need to go along the asphalt, after 1 km there will be a sign of N. Vorgol-Dernovka. Here in Dernovka you need (that is, to the right). In the village of Dernovka you can sleep on an asphalt road. We move the power station, which will be on the left, and enter the first after it a turn to the left.

After the arrival in the village you will see the store on the right, and on the left - stop, then drive along the asphalt to the fork and straddle the second bus stop. From here we turn left to the dirt road. We fall on a wide field and go straight on the same primer. After about a kilometer you will see a turn to the right. He leads to a small career, and to the right of him there will be a playground above the rocks. After driving a little more than a kilometer along the river's bank, you will end up in a dead end. Vorgolskie rocks: how to get from Voronezh

Winners receive a diploma and valuable prizes from the organizers of the contest. During the festival, participants live in tents, prepare dinner together and sing along with a guitar.
