Ufa River: rafting, fishing, traveling

The Ufa River, or Ufimka, flows through the Urals and Urals, Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions, Bashkortostan and flows into Agidel (the Volga river basin). Its length is almost 920 km, and the basin area is 53 tonnes. Km². It originates in Lake Ufa, which is in the ridge of the Urals. The nature of the river is very unstable: if in the upper reaches it turns into a turbulent stream with rapids, then, flowing through the valleys, it remains calm and smooth. And in its basin is developed karst. For the winter the river is covered with ice (from the end of October to the beginning of December), and in April-early May it is opened. The food is mostly snow.

For traveling on the water Ufa is most interesting in its upper course. Even along Ufa you can get from the dam of the famous Pavlovsk hydroelectric power station. This route can be carried out in 2-3 days, and at the same time visit one of the sights of Bashkortostan - the source of the Red Key. In general, the river Ufa has the easiest degree of complexity - the first, rafting on it is interesting and safe enough, in addition, there is something to see. Now water tourism is gaining popularity, but on the Ufa River there are many tourists annually on boats, kayaks, rafts, and the popularity of the reservoir is explained by interesting, but quite safe rapids. Here lies the conventional boundary between Asia and Europe. In the upper reaches of Ufa is the highest point of the Middle Urals. On the shores are scattered picturesque rocks and hills, multiple karst phenomena, mysterious caves, dense thickets of bird cherry, pine and birch forests.

Fishing

Many fishermen are well-known river Ufa. Bashkiria in general is replete with the richest water bodies, therefore huge catches of pike and chub, burbot and trout, pike perch, gudgeon, sticking and many other kinds of fish are not surprising. Fisheries supervision posts closely monitor fishing, preventing poaching.

Reflecting on the rest not the banks of the river Ufa, of course, first of all it is worth thinking about green tourism. During the Soviet times, tourists from all over the country flocked to the picturesque forests that shelter the banks of Ufa. All summer long, the columns of smoke from the campfire curled into the night sky, bard songs were scattered around the neighborhood ... You can see a lot of tent workers in our days. Many of them combine forest lodging with an alloy, delaying for several days in especially liked places. Those who do not have sufficient equipment, just come to the river and break camps. The best time for rest in these places is the beginning and end of summer. July is the warmest month in these parts, however it can be unbearably hot at noon.

Another subspecies of green tourism is living in villages. Many local residents have long been able to get additional income by renting rooms or whole houses for newcomers. This allows you to relax from the city bustle to those who want to live in the bosom of nature, but does not like a tent holiday. Home food, fresh air, beauty of nature around - all this can give the river Ufa. And what could be better for a tired townspeople than to live in a cozy village house among the Ural forests?
