Typical standards for the issuance of special clothing

Various legislative acts stipulate the duty of the employer to purchase and give out clothes for members of their collective for free. Article thirty-seven of the Constitution of the Russian Federation asserts the right of a person to work in safe conditions that meet hygiene standards. Numerous government decrees and orders issued by the Ministry of Labor set certain requirements. These normative acts are intended for various spheres of the state economy.

Requirements related to labor protection, which are mandatory for use by any business entity, are defined in the employer's use of technical means that reduce the impact on the human body of hazardous or harmful factors of production, as well as contributing to their prevention.

Typical standards for the issuance of uniforms consist of requirements that are minimal. They help protect workers from exposure to harmful factors. Each of the spheres of the national economy has its own typical industry standards for the issuance of special clothing. They are concretized acts for a specific economic area and contain kits that directly depend on the specialty of workers.

Typical standards for the issuance of clothing indicate also the period of wearing or using the product. Means that produce individual protection must necessarily be written off in accordance with legislative acts. There is also a requirement for the employer, who must provide care for special clothing. It should be washed, cleaned and, if necessary, dried.

Typical industry norms for the free issue of special clothing are mandatory for approval by the Ministries of Social Development and Public Health. There are cases when there are no such acts for any sphere of the national economy. Then the enterprises have the right to apply intersectoral provisions.

The employer can develop standard norms for the issuance of special clothing for his organization. To use them, he is entitled only if, in comparison with generally accepted acts, they contribute to the most reliable protection of members of the work collective from the impact on their organism of harmful factors of production.

Article two hundred and eleventh contained in the Labor Code of the Russian Federation legislatively recorded the obligation of both physical and legal persons who carry out any activity, observe the rules concerning labor protection. At the same time, the standard standards for the issuance of uniforms relate to an extensive list of occupations. It can be found in the approved legislative acts.

A single normative requirement for all spheres of the national economy is the issuance of warm special clothing and footwear. The differences concern only the climatic zones.

Sometimes, if there are certain features in the production cycles, the employer can replace one type of protection with another. At the same time, it is required to get agreement on these actions with the trade union body.

All products intended for individual protection must be issued to the employee in accordance with its size and gender, the growth and nature of the duties performed, and also meet the requirements for occupational safety. In this case, clothing and footwear must have certificates of conformity.

Employees who are given personal protective equipment must:

- use them during the labor process;

- to show respect for them;

- timely notify the employer about taking measures to care for her.

If the worthlessness of special means has occurred before the time of writing-off on the basis, then in this case it is possible to talk about the damage caused to the employer.
