TV antenna with their own hands - simple and affordable

The construction of antennas is not so popular nowadays as at the beginning of the television era. Then not only the TV, but also the antenna was a huge deficit, and the signal was so weak that it was necessary to choose a place for the TV in the most unexpected places of the apartment. In our time, radio shops are amazed by the variety of assortment of such products. But sometimes there is a need to make an antenna yourself, for example, in a country house where a swallow of civilization is required, or in a car with long journeys, especially since the occupation is not tricky, and almost any items will be suitable for this purpose. Homemade antennas are even more diverse, and often they are more efficient than factory ones.

How is the TV antenna constructed? With his own hands, it turns out, to build it quite simply. Knitting needle, stuck into the nest of the TV, or wire raised on the window. Such primitive decisions in good conditions can take two or three channels. But if the signal is weak, you can try to make an antenna from beer cans and a wooden coat hanger "hangers" for clothes. It is enough to strengthen the banks on the hanger, connect a coaxial cable, signal vein to one bank, shielding to the other, and the simplest antenna is ready. Now you can enjoy an acceptable picture in the DMV range.

What can be a self-made TV antenna? With your hands, you can build an attractive enough product, and in terms of parameters it will not be inferior to the factory one. To do this, you have to work: calculate the necessary number of vibrators, pick up a reflector (the benefit of the Internet offers a lot of calculators for this), strengthen everything on a rigid dielectric strip, solder a coaxial cable. You will get a great gain factor, and if you still adjust the amplifier from the old Polish antenna, the signal reception will be much better and more confident at times. An antenna for digital television can be made by the same principle.

And if the TV antenna itself - still a relic of the past, the analogs for GSM and Wi-Fi are now very popular. GSM reception is the same radio signal, but with a different frequency and wavelength, so the GSM antenna is as real as it is for TV. Since the wavelength of these transmitters is less, then the antenna should be smaller. Sometimes it is enough to just apply the F-connector and the tin can to us. We clean the cable, fasten the connector and carefully insert it into the hole made in advance from the side of the can. The other end is connected to the GSM signal receiver. But this is a simple option, comparable to a spoke in the TV.

A more reliable version of the antenna for the ultrashort range can be constructed by bending two square pieces of 84 mm from the copper wire and soldering the cable. If you need a more directional antenna, you should make a metal screen. This antenna is suitable for confident reception of not only GSM-signal, but also Wi-Fi.
