"Tu-204" is a medium-range aircraft. Produce it at the OKB named after A. N. Tupolev. The plane was created to replace the Tu-154.

The car is manufactured since 1990 in Ulyanovsk, later it was also produced in Kazan. The aircraft of the Tu-204 family comply with modern requirements for safety, emission of harmful substances and noise. In addition, the car is included in a small number of those aircraft that are able to safely complete the flight with all non-operating engines.

According to experts, "Tu-204" has high performance. If you take into account the main indicators, then this aircraft is not inferior to such recognized liners as Boeing and Airbus. In addition, for domestic operators, their use is more profitable. The liner is currently used by several airlines.

Modifications and passenger capacity

Over time, the "Tu-204" has a lot of different modifications. They differ in flight characteristics, power plants, dimensions and onboard electronics. For example, the modification "Tu-204-100", in comparison with the base model, has a greater load-carrying capacity. The flight range is declared as 4,6 thousand km, the takeoff weight is 103 tons, the number of passenger seats is from 176 to 194 seats.

Also note another modification, which is also called "two-hundred" ("Tu-214"). It has additional fuel tanks.

Here is a list of some modifications of the Tu-204:

• 100 seats up to 210 passengers in a one-class arrangement, otherwise called a tourist option;
• 100E - up to 176-194 passengers;
• 100V, as well as 120 and 200 - the maximum possible number of passengers - 210;
• 300 - the capacity of the passenger compartment is 142-156 passengers.
• 300A - maximum number of passengers - 26. It belongs to vip-class aircraft;
• Modification of SM - 166-215 passengers.

"Tu-204" is a version of 100E. This option is characterized by the fact that it has an English-speaking cabin crew. The cruising altitude of the flight is just over 11 kilometers. The flight range is 4600 meters.

The upgraded "Tu-204-100", the layout of which was shown in the photo, has 172 seats in the presence of two classes.

Salon

Comfort in the cabin paid much attention, since the original liner was created for flights on domestic and international routes. There is a high level of ergonomics of the seats, in general the salon is well thought out and has an excellent design.

During long flights for passengers, all the necessary conditions have been created for them to feel as comfortable as possible. The lighting system gives an unobtrusive, but at the same time, spectacular illumination. The display of the entertainment video center is integrated into the back of the front seat, which is accessible to passengers.

In the business class, there is more space, but this does not mean that there is not much room in the economy class. As the passengers note, it also provides an acceptable level of comfort that meets the world standards of air transportation. A mixed option, where there is both a business class and an economic one, accommodates 172 people. Of these, the first zone has 12 passengers, the rest are located in the economy. The Tu-214 (Tu-204-200) airplane has a two-class layout. Most seats in the cabin belong to the economy class (174), and in the business class space can accommodate up to 8 people. It is considered that the best places that are related to the first variant of accommodation are those that are in 10, and also 16 rows (places A, B, C, F). Also can be attributed to the comfortable seats A and F, belonging to the 32 row. But this information should not be taken for sure as a guide to action when choosing tickets. This is only an opinion based on some parameters, which provide a high level of comfort.

So, in the 10th row for passengers there is more free space due to the presence of a screen. In addition, you will not be thrown back from the front of the chair, and the distribution of food begins with these rows. Places 16 and 32 rows do not have a number of front seats ahead, which means there is more free space. Those who fly together will be comfortable in the 15th row, as there are not three seats here, as in the rest of the cabin, but only two.

The most unfavorable places, again starting from a number of parameters, are places located in 14, 29 and 41 rows. This conclusion is based on the fact that the chairs are not far from the restrooms. Also, the seat backs have a restriction in motion, that is, they will not be able to be thrown back the way you want. The toilet rooms in economy class are located in the center of the salon (there are two of them), as well as in the tail section (one).

Mostly, based on the feedback of passengers, the best places are those that are located in the porthole and in the initial rows of the economy class. The business class is not considered separately, as in this zone all the places are maximally comfortable. However, here are some recommendations: it is better to take tickets to the front seats, because the noise from the neighboring cabin will be less audible. In terms of safety, it is better to take a place in the tail of the aircraft.
