I met her late at night, it was already far beyond 23.00, when she called me on her mobile and reported on the opportunity to meet. I did not promise her a lot of money for the consultation - no, on the contrary, I wrote to her that I do not have any and that I'm just starting my way in business.
She confirmed the meeting in one of the non-trivial establishments in the city center and I was looking forward to the appearance of a fairy who would give me a magic pill and the next day I will wake up famous and, most importantly, rich.
She was 15 minutes late, but, believe me, I did not regret the waiting minutes. When she appeared, it even seemed to me that she knows how I look and that we meet already far from the first time and she works for me and for my success. "I'm all attention, and you are a statement," she said instead of the traditional greeting, which shocked me completely. For a few seconds I wondered if it was worth telling her something, but for some reason I decided to continue. I did not think of anything better than starting my story from where I come from, what my education is and how I'm going to make a living. In my unconcealed surprise, she listened very carefully and never interrupted me for all 15 minutes, that I was laying out my fate to her, like on a silver platter.
"Well, that's what, young man ..." - she began ... and I did not expect anything good from the conversation ... I really was waiting for a long tirade with popular interjections that I took her time. And I was even ready to answer, when suddenly she asked: "And what moves you, what do you have more to do?" ... And again I was confused ... I really did not know why I want to become a lawyer and help people In difficult situations.
"Social motivation" is the first thing I understood from the conversation. Nastes showed me on her computer how many items leading her to the goal she has. And then I realized that I started with the wrong thing. In the first place she had the phrase "make money," and only then she argued, why. She did not hide that 75% for her own sake.
"Do not hide your own benefit" is the second thing that I understood. People do not believe in disinterestedness, it's really worth talking about their goals.
Then followed a rather long monologue by Nastes, where she told me about my target audience, their problems, tasks, cost of services. In fact, she did not tell me what I wanted to hear from her. I did not find out where the money comes from, how to get customers right tomorrow, how to earn a million, where Maserati is sold ...
"Do not think about how, but think what exactly I need" is the third thing I learned from talking with Nastes. I really thought that she herself does not know what she will do tomorrow, but she knows exactly what the outcome of the coming day will be. And then she finally broke all my ideas - she showed me a list of cases on the last day with notes on what was done and not done. I could not see for sure, but it felt like 95% did ... and so her year looked ... She taught me to plan, not dictating how to do it. For this, thank you.
I really got the impression that she is doing her own thing, following only one intuition. Although her extensive experience suggests the opposite - I read a lot of herds about her in magazines - about advertising in Ukraine, she promotes a network of confectioneries in the Altai Territory ... then she will describe the unique business cases taken from the example of her colleagues from Arkhangelsk ...
And most importantly, she showed me that you need to adore yourself in the context of your craft. We need to carry our projects on hand, cater to them, do everything for them ... surround them with care ... She mixed femininity with business and got a whole bunch of creative children - her ideas, projects, sketches (by the way, she has a huge bale of sketches Always separate, despite the availability of an ultra-modern mini-computer).
Summing up, I can say one thing - there are people who refuse to help, which will be harmful. As Nastes refused to give me a magic pill for business success, she pushed me to develop her own, only according to my prescription, only for my "illness", only for my character. I am sure that someday the young disciples who will surround me will be equally grateful to me ...
