Treatment of periodontal disease

Parodontosis is a very serious disease, in which the dental tissues and tissues are systemically affected, which the tooth surrounds. The disease should not be confused with periodontitis. Periodontitis is a common deviation caused by weakness of the teeth. In order to get rid of periodontitis (simple inflammation of the gums), it is enough to introduce into the diet solid food: beans, nuts, etc. They will strengthen the teeth, help remove inflammation, improve digestion.

Parodontosis is another matter . Treatment of periodontal disease can last for a long time. A untreated disease leads to a complete loss of all teeth.

How is parodontosis manifested? For a long time the disease can proceed without visible signs. It is not accompanied by bleeding or pain, during periodontal disease the gums do not inflame, and the destruction of the bone tissue under the gum begins. At first it is invisible, then, when the gums drop and become very thin, the tooth roots are exposed. At this time, there may appear high sensitivity, intolerance to hot or cold food. The more exposed the roots, the more unpleasant these feelings are. Teeth change color, "wear off", become thinner. If at this stage do not begin treatment of periodontitis, then a strong inflammation begins, itching appears, as a result, all teeth can fall out. That is why it is important to systematically undergo preventive examinations at the dentist. You need to do this two or three times a year.

What causes the disease? There are several of them. This may be a hereditary predisposition, a complication after other diseases (for example, diabetes), impaired blood circulation.

Effective treatment of periodontitis depends on how quickly the diagnosis is established. In neglected form, the disease may require the removal of teeth or a patchwork operation.

Treatment of periodontal disease should be of a complex nature. Usually (depending on the degree of the disease) surgical, orthopedic, therapeutic methods and physiotherapy are used. However, the best way is prevention. It should not only observe the hygiene of the mouth, but at least twice a year undergo a physical examination to make sure of the absence of diseases that can provoke periodontal disease. It is also useful to rinse your teeth with oak bark or chamomile.

If the disease is already developing, it is recommended to rinse the mouth with the tincture of the comfrey to restore the bone tissue, stop bleeding with the help of a straight leaf, sedge or other herbal infusions.

However, it is impossible to avoid visiting a doctor: only medical methods are capable of preserving the teeth and relieving the patient of pain and aesthetic problems.

Today, the treatment of periodontal disease with a laser is becoming increasingly widespread. The CO2 beam of a photodynamic or diode laser not only thoroughly cleans pathological pockets. Point action helps to stop inflammation, kills pathogenic flora, polishes the tooth and prevents the development of the disease. The laser beam is able to penetrate the most inaccessible places, make the bone tissue so smooth that the gum will fit snugly, preventing the ingress and multiplication of harmful bacteria.

If the liquid has already accumulated in the tooth, then with the help of the laser it is possible to make a hole (this is absolutely painless) so that the accumulated pus flows outward. Then, if necessary, the doctor introduces therapeutic drugs to stop the development of inflammation.

Laser treatment is absolutely safe and non-traumatic, does not require anesthesia, gives high guarantees. It takes significantly less time, and recovery takes place very quickly.

Laser treatment costs a little more than the usual course of therapy, but, given the results it gives, such wastes are fully justified.
