Treatment of couperose on the face: the most effective means

Kuperoz is a skin disease in which small vessels, mostly facial skin, are affected. The fact is that there are a number of reasons why the vessels lose their elasticity, turn red and become more noticeable. As a result, the facial skin is covered with vascular "mesh" and "stars." In some cases, only small "stars" can be formed, but most often extensive skin lesions occur.

At its core, couperose is a cosmetic defect that does not cause harm to the body, but only significantly impairs the appearance. Most often, women suffer from it, for which the disease turns into a real nightmare. So you want to have a gentle and clean skin, but with couperose it does not work.

It is worth noting that the treatment of couperose on the face can last for a long time, much depends on the number of damaged vessels and the cause that led to the appearance of a defect. By the way, the causes are very diverse: diseases of the cardiovascular system, smoking, drinking alcohol, overeating fatty, salty, smoked and spicy foods, hormonal disorders in women, sudden temperature changes, etc. Of course, most people are affected by these factors. But couperose will arise only in the one who is the owner of light and sensitive skin.

Treatment of couperose on the face for a long time was a headache in the world of cosmetology. The main weapon was decorative cosmetics. But times have changed, and today it is much easier to cure this disease.

If the number of "stars" and "mesh" on the face is small, then you can try to remove this cosmetic defect with drugs that strengthen the walls of blood vessels. First of all it is vitamins Р, С, K. It is possible to try treatment by microcurrents and lymphatic drainage, however, it is possible to resort to these and many other methods only after preliminary examination with a cosmetologist or dermatologist.

There are four stages of couperose. 1 and 2, the second is treatable as described above, but the removal of couperose on the face of the 3rd and 4th stages is possible only by surgery. There are several methods:

Electrocoagulation

By this technique is meant cauterization of the affected vessels with a hair electrode. The procedure is a little painful, but quite effective.

Photocoagulation

Treatment of couperose on the face is performed by the method of cauterizing the affected vessels with a bright flash of pulsed light.

Laser therapy

"Asterisks" and "mesh" are removed using a laser beam. The procedure is painless, but you may need several courses.

Ozone therapy

An ozone-oxygen mixture is introduced into the lumen of the vessel, which contributes to the disappearance of couperose.

Sclerotherapy

This modern method of removal of the affected vessels is considered the most effective. Its essence lies in the fact that a special preparation is inserted into the vessels with a thin needle. As a result, the sclerized vessel disappears from the surface of the skin. It should be noted that the treatment of couperose on the face in this way can be carried out regardless of the stage of the disease. Sclerotherapy is completely safe, does not deliver pain and gives a persistent long-lasting (sometimes lifelong) result. The very course of sclerotherapy consists of injections, the amount of which should be determined by a cosmetologist.

Difficulties can arise with the treatment of that couperose, which is in a neglected state. Sometimes this is not possible.

At home, you should pay special attention to skin care. You can buy a special face cream from couperose, but only one that is sold in the pharmacy. Of course, one should not hope that he will cure this disease, but he can reduce the number of "zvezochek" and "mesh". From folk recipes you can try to make lotions from chamomile infusions or apply masks from fresh potatoes.
