The standard of living in the countries of the world. The standard of living in Europe

At the moment, the standard of living in the countries of the world is very different. And the point here is not only in the development of the economic component of a particular state, but in the general prosperity of its population. We are talking about financial aspects, and about educational, and political. Dozens of factors of development of all strata of the population influence the world rating.

Standard of living

This characteristic demonstrates the degree of welfare of society. The standard of living in the countries of the world is an indicator of the satisfaction of the spiritual and financial needs of the population. This coefficient is calculated for a certain period: quarter, year, five-year plan, etc. For the base parameter, the average income per person is taken, along with its ratio to the consumer basket.

In addition, to calculate the standard of living in different countries, it is necessary to analyze the quality of health care, the state of the environment, the degree of psychological comfort of citizens, etc. This parameter illustrates the satisfaction of the population in material and spiritual needs in a particular period of time.

Additional indexes in the calculation are birth rate, mortality, housing conditions, quality of education, employment and unemployment, prices for goods and services, transport infrastructure, social security, citizens' freedom, foodstuffs, sanitary conditions, recreational system, life expectancy and so on. All these parameters are taken into account for all segments of the population.

European countries

This part of the world is significantly different from the other degree of welfare of the population. The standard of living in European countries as a whole is much higher than in Asia, Africa or the American continent. The reason lies in the stable financial system and the development of infrastructure.

Demonstration that the standard of living in European countries is higher than elsewhere, it is better to start with Norway. In this small area of the monarchy, GDP exceeds $ 335 billion. At the same time, the unemployment rate varies within only 3%. Also, there are great literacy and social security indicators. All this is coupled with the possibility of Norway leading the welfare rating among all countries of the world.

The second place in the list is taken by Switzerland. Here per capita about 80 thousand dollars. Switzerland is distinguished by a reliable sphere of services, developed banking sector and broad industrial sector.

Also in the top ten countries of the world with the best indicators of life and well-being include Sweden, Denmark, Finland and, strangely enough, Luxembourg.

CIS and Russia

For a long time this region is not an example for imitation in terms of economy and development of the population. Today, the standard of living in the CIS countries is far from ideal, not for nothing in the world ranking, only one of them is in the first 50. It's about Kazakhstan, which staked out the 47th place. GDP per person is more than 24 thousand dollars. At the same time, the development of industry and the sphere of health care, stability on the political front is noted.

Belarus occupies the 58th line of the rating. Here, the human development index is assessed as excellent. GDP per capita is about 17 thousand dollars. The agrarian economy and industry are singled out.

All other CIS countries are significantly lower than Belarus, this applies to Ukraine, Uzbekistan and others. Russia is located on the 91st place in the list, behind Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Moldova.

Asian part of the world

The general standard of living in the countries of the world is assessed as satisfactory. In Asia, the average figure rests on the "above-average" mark. All thanks to several developed countries, the best of which is Singapore. It was this republic that ranked in the welfare rating above all Asian powers - in 18th place. GDP per capita here is more than 51 thousand dollars. According to the level of development of the population and services, Singapore ranks 19th in the world.

Next in the ranking (19th line) is Hong Kong. According to the development index, this administrative Chinese region ranks 13th - the highest in Asia after Japan. GDP per person - more than 38 thousand dollars.

Taiwan is another administrative region of the PRC, which is distinguished by the level of welfare of the population. It closes the top 20 countries of the world rating on the quality of life. A sharp jump in the development of all spheres of services was observed after the recognition of the state by China.

Next to Taiwan are South Korea and the UAE.

American continents

The leading position in this zone is occupied by Canada. In the world welfare rating it is located on the 3rd place, after Norway and Switzerland. Canada is considered one of the richest countries in the world in terms of GDP - more than 1.5 trillion dollars. The population development index is estimated as very high. In Canada, there is a stable financial system, which is based on the perfect work of banks, coupled with profitability from agriculture and industry. The US is based on the 11th line of the rating. Its level of GDP exceeds 16.7 trillion. Dollars. In terms of state income, the United States is in the first place. Another thing is that unemployment is rampant in the country, taxes are constantly rising, social rights are limited.

Uruguay is the only Latin American state that entered the top 30 world powers ranking, closing it. The common denominator of GDP and the population development index is estimated as good.

The rest of the world

The overall standard of living in the countries of the world is declining because of the slow development of most African and oceanic states. New Zealand stands apart. This is rather an exception to the rules. New Zealand deservedly placed on the 5th place of the world rating. In the island monarchy per capita is about 35.5 thousand dollars. According to the index of human development, the country occupies the 6th place in the world. The basis of the state economy is agriculture, heavy industry and tourism.

Of the African countries, Tunisia (61st place) occupies the highest line in the welfare rating. Nearby are the Philippines (66th position).

Closes the world rating of the state of Chad (142nd place). Here the standard of living is estimated as low. This concerns both the degree of development of the population, the GDP index, and other important components of the comfort and welfare of citizens.
