African countries are mysterious and interesting

A fairly large continent, second only to Eurasia, is Africa. It is located in the eastern hemisphere and occupies one fifth of the land of the whole earth. On all sides the continent is washed by water: in the west by the Atlantic Ocean, in the east by the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean, in the north by the Mediterranean Sea, and the Suez Canal separates it from Asia. This is a huge number of peoples and tribes, cultures and beliefs.

African countries, of which more than fifty, small and large, are located on the territory of this continent, until recently were part of the European countries, as their colonies. And only since the 60-ies of Africa, the tribes and peoples living in them, began to manage their own states. But the years of servitude were not in vain. Foreign states were not interested in the education and development of the peoples and territories of their colonies, they even more divided the peoples of this continent, forcing them to fight against each other, so everywhere poverty and illiteracy existed, and the borders of some states divided nations into two warring camps. African countries were still delayed in development due to the lack of qualified specialists. In Africa, many nearby tribes live in different languages and have different religions. The intolerable attitude of the white population toward the blacks hampered development and technological progress. Many countries in Africa are still struggling with this problem, for example, such as Somalia, Sudan, Rwanda.

But already in the 90s, when the president of the Republic of South Africa, and black, became Nelson Mandela, elected democratically, all African countries saw "light at the end of the tunnel."

And yet its own national culture, traditions, due to colonization, underwent a strong change. The Arabs and the Europeans exerted special influence on African countries. Accordingly, Egypt, the Maghreb and other countries of the northern part of the African continent are considered more with the Arab culture, accept it. They are joined in this by the African countries on the west coast, Madagascar, Zanzibar and Mauritius.

In the rest of the continent, the influence of Europe is more widespread. And, such an African country as South Africa, has adopted the British direction of development. To it, Namibia soon joined.

Russia has long had diplomatic relations with Africa, even under Catherine II, they were established with Morocco and in the late 19th century - with Ethiopia.

Africa is rich in its fairytale nature, combining wild vegetation with an endless desert. Also, people who inhabit the continent profess Islam of the Sunnite in the north, Christianity, Islam and local religions in Tropical Africa, and in the South - Christianity, Catholic and Protestant, and Judaism.

Unique monuments of the history of the first civilizations attract many tourists from different countries to Africa, therefore this type of business here is already quite developed, although more in border countries, because in many places a very dense growth of vegetation and animals inhabiting it block the way.
