It was this question that the entire creative team of "Studios Kvartal 95" tried to answer, bringing to the TV viewers the TV series "The Servant of the People".

Actors became ministers

It's no secret that the humor of the "quarters" is built on a satire about modern life with all its problems, from relations in the family and ending with corrupt politicians. No less topical is the "Servant of the people". Actors and roles were so bright that they are remembered literally from the first minute. And if at first the project was conceived as a sitcom, then in the process of writing the script and directly filming, the general idea grew into a slightly lyrical, politico-social film. And the key roles of ministers (with the exception of the Prime Minister) were played by stage colleagues and friends in life - actors of the company "Quarter 95". From the history of creation

The story of an honest president was invented a long time ago. The image of an intelligent teacher was collected from the school memories of the whole team. Having absorbed the best qualities of all the familiar teachers of the series authors, Vasily Petrovich turned out to be a kind of intellectual from the people who tries to understand everything in honor and justice, but he is not ready to "work for the public". This story was so vital that all the actors of the series "Servant of the people" worked with complete dedication and, as it turned out, with pleasure. Which affected the final result.

The main role of the rebel teacher went to Vladimir Zelensky, the leading comedian and showman of the country, as well as the permanent leader of the studio "Quarter 95". He is also one of the producers and authors of the idea of this series. And we should admit that he was a touching character of the intellectual reformer. It is interesting to observe not only how he fights the rotten system, but also for his relationship with his son (it so happened that Vasily Petrovich divorced his wife, which did not affect his love for his child).

But the role of the Prime Minister and the gray cardinal of the political life of the country went to the actor of the theater and cinema Stanislav Boklan, who is the People's Artist of Ukraine. The cunning and resourcefulness of his character can be compared only with the versatility of the artist who embodied the image on the screen. Note that the role was so bright and lively that immediately found a place in the heart of the viewer.

The former wife of the president was played by Elena Kravets, Zelensky's colleague on the stage. Becoming the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, she still adores her son and dreams about the usual family happiness. Another bright character of the series is Defense Minister Ivan Skorik (Alexander Pekalov).
