Vladimir Goryachev: biography and photos

In January 1923, Hero of the Soviet Union - Vladimir Goryachev was born in Izhevsk. The family was working, simple, loving their homeland and selfless labor. Six years after the birth of his son, his parents moved to Omsk, where the boy graduated from secondary school No. 6. And in June 1941, Vladimir Goryachev was already in the ranks of the Red Army.

To the front

From the Stalin RVK of Omsk, the future hero did not go to the front immediately, but was sent to Novosibirsk, to the infantry school, which he graduated after a year. Already in August 1942, as part of the Tenth Independent Guards Battalion of Mines, the young man was sent to the rear of the enemy, where he was waited for by sabotage and reconnaissance work. Most of the time he spent far behind the front line, in the territories occupied by the enemies, on orders from the command, carrying out dangerous and complex assignments.

The ministers of the department, initially commanded by Vladimir Goryachev, blew up the railway track, derailing echelons with the Nazis, tanks and other weapons. They disabled bridges, suddenly attacked the staffs of the enemy, capturing captives and important documentation, as well as conducting reconnaissance, including engineering. For such activities Goryachev received the first awards: the medal "For Courage" and the Order of the Patriotic War were the encouragement of perfectly executed combat missions.

Subversive work

Vladimir Goryachev excelled at once, as soon as he got into the sabotage battalion, where one hundred and fifty people were fighting, brave and fearless. In the winter (1942-1943), only nine trains were blown up by them on the railway of the Vitebsk-Orsha-Smolensk main line. Nine of the locomotives completely disabled the guys, and also destroyed the locomotive, six railway platforms. The enemy lost many people dead and wounded. Most often in these events participated and Goryachev Vladimir.

How did this happen? A group of six people was assembled, armed with automatic weapons, grenades and Finnish knives. Only two cartridges of cartridges were supposed to be used for firearms. But in the backpacks were packed mines and explosives in sufficient quantities. Scouts took food for a week and a half and went for the front line. Returned only after full execution of the trusted task. This continued until April 1943.

Ammunition warehouse

Then Vladimir Goryachev, whose biography was filled with unfading glory every day, fought in the 43rd Army on the Kalinin front, where his group of scouting submarines consisted of twenty-nine people. It was commanded by Lieutenant Dubovitsky.

On April 22, six people, including Vladimir Goryachev, were thrown into a section of the railway line near Smolensk in Rudnya district. Communication with Vishnev's partisans was quickly established, from which information was received about a large ammunition depot near the village of Savoste. The warehouse was vigilantly guarded, despite the fact that it was densely surrounded by barbed wire.

The newspaper Rabochy Krai

This episode is one of many legendary moments of the war in which Vladimir Goryachev is a participant. доблестный поступок, о котором написала газета "Рабочий край". Soviet Union defender, desperate courage man committed valiant act, which was written by the newspaper Rabochy Krai. The publication was a detailed analysis of the operation, which lasted for a few minutes: how Goryachev with his knife took off the sentry, as his comrades, covering each other, cut the barbed wire and laid explosives.

Hiding in the pre-dawn dusk, the scouts managed to retreat into the forest, when a whole series of deafening explosions rumbled. Demomen themselves did not expect such power - many enemy shells will not fly to their destination, saving the lives of hundreds of Soviet soldiers. After a while, the headquarters read the report from the LCM-23 about the detection and destruction of a large ammunition depot and the continuation of the task. On the page of the newspaper there is also an image on which Vladimir Goryachev flaunts. Photo, of course, earlier, not from this fight.

May 1943

On the 8th of May the group receives a new order. It is necessary to destroy the enemy echelon with armament, which is to the front on the railway line between Golynki and Lelekvinskaya, and also to scout the situation on the highway from Vitebsk to Smolensk, where there was a brisk movement from the air. If there is an opportunity, it is necessary to blow up the bridge on this highway.

The enemy overlaid the places of the secret redeployment of his troops by numerous ambushes. But the group of Senior Lieutenant Kolosov, which included Vladimir Goryachev, safely passed them. For three days the reconnaissance patrols left all the remaining villages and clearings, intersections on the roads and, finally, to the place of the combat mission got safely and intact. On the eleventh of May they settled in a forest near the village of Knyazhino. The Germans seemed to sense the danger - the scouts were forced to constantly withdraw from the persecution.

The battle

After a day they were tracked, found and surrounded. Nikolai Kolosov led the group to a height of 207.8. He knew that it was there that the cache was located, organized by the partisans, in which a large number of TNTs and ready-made mines were kept. After a while it became clear that the battle could not be avoided - the environment was dense. But the position of the soldiers took a very advantageous. They quickly dug trenches, mined the approaches to the height. More than a thousand Hitlerites surrounded six of our scouts.

Knowing the small number of the Soviet group, the Germans almost did not hide - they started to attack. Our silent until the last. Assuming the enemy almost right, they hit the lead with six automatic weapons. The Nazis and the second attack failed to crush the miners. More than three hours of shooting took place, then the enemy artillery was tightened, and a "frame" - a reconnaissance aircraft - began to spin over the forest. And on the high-altitude only six heroes hid.

Six brave

And clever! When the high-rise began to carry shells and mines, our scouts were no longer there. Kolesov took the group a hundred meters from the height. They disguised themselves and prepared to make a breakthrough. After the artillery preparation, the enemies rose to a height with thick chains. And then the partisan cache was rushed, because in the trenches of Kolesov laid the TNT checkers. A huge explosion of force was heard - at the same time more than 300 Hitlerites were killed. Bloody shreds per kilometer flew in all directions.

However, the breakthrough failed. Too unequal were the forces - more than a hundred Germans to one of our scouts. Our ministers fought literally to the last drop of blood, more heroism and it's impossible to imagine. And all were lost. Punishers brutalized because of losses so much that they sneered at the bodies of fighters for a long time: they cut eyes, cut off ears, stabbed with bayonets. A few days later, old Trofim brought to the battlefield a dozen surviving old women, women and children who mourned the deceased defenders and buried everyone in a common grave.

Medallion

Soon, Smolensk was released. And then everyone learned about the feat of scouts. Huge losses in this battle of the German invaders were able to confirm both the partisans of Vishnev and the local residents. Guerrillas reconnaissance group also managed to help - they broke away from the pursuit, as the punitive forces were detained by the fighting. Philip Bezrukov left his medallion on the battlefield, where he put a note. It was from here that people learned about the composition of the reconnaissance group and the magnitude of the feat. On May 12, 1943, this note was written. With farewell and wish for a peaceful life.

Nikolai Vasilyevich Kolosov of Furmanov, a turner of twenty-four, Volodya Goryachev from Omsk, yesterday's schoolboy of nineteen, Slava Efimov from Kalinin, a student of nineteen, Vanya Bazylev from the Boltutinsky collective farm, a komsorg of twenty-one, Bezrukov Filipp from Chelyabinsk , A worker of twenty-two years, Misha the Soft from Belgorod, an employee of twenty-one years.

What happened then?

So heroically the country fought, giving the youngest, strongest and best, noting them more than deserved honors - alas! - Posthumously. The names of the heroes are named streets in their native cities, schools. And Vladimir Goryachev received awards and until his last battle: a medal and two orders. His courage was initially noticed and noted. In 1944, all six fighters of his intelligence group of miners were posthumously awarded the title Heroes of the Soviet Union: Senior Lieutenant NV Kolosov, Senior Sergeant VP Goryachev, Junior Sergeant VB Efimov, Private MV Myagkoi, F. I. Bezrukov and I. K. Bazalev.

In 1946, their remains were reburied in the village of Mikulino, where a famous monument was erected. Six Heroes of the Soviet Union rest in one grave, they are worthy of the most magnificent monument with their names carved into stone. Bulat Okudzhava just about this "Tenth our landing battalion" wrote his song. It was these names that inspired him (the film "Belarusian Railway Station"). And it was in 1943 that they began to respectfully call the paratroopers - the first of its kind.
