Baking this dish among professional chefs is considered a real art, there are too many subtleties and tricks in it. In France, this is done only by recognized masters of their craft, who learn how to prepare croissants correctly, for many years.

The recipe for the traditional French delicacy is as follows: for the test, take milk (200 ml), sugar (30 g) and vanilla, a bag of yeast, eggs (2 pcs.) And flour (900 grams). For filling and general design, you will need a delicious fruit or berry jam, butter (100 grams) and egg yolks (2 pcs.). First you need to dissolve in slightly warmed milk yeast, then pour them into a bowl of flour, add eggs and sugar. Adding melted butter there, you can thoroughly mix a plastic but dense dough and send it to go for half an hour in a warm place. After this period, the mass must be carefully rolled out to form a thin layer, from which small triangles are cut. All the other manipulations that dictate this recipe for croissants are quite simple - make a few notches at the bottom of each piece of dough, lay out the filling (jam) and carefully wrap it. When all future baking is prepared, you can grease it with yolk - to purchase a golden crust and send it on a baking sheet in the oven. Ready-made delicacy should be rolled in sugar powder and served for tea.

For those who do not appreciate the classics too much, preferring to improve the above-described recipe for croissants, it is intended to be a dish with cheese. The list of ingredients for it is: flour (550 gr.), Dark beer (250 ml.), Egg, yeast and sugar (10 gr.), As well as salt to taste and a little vegetable oil. For the filling, you need cheese (300 grams) and butter (30 grams). Dough for this dish should be created in a deep bowl, which mixes the flour, yeast, sugar and beer dissolved in warm water. The resulting mass should be carefully mixed and sent to a warm place, to approach. After half an hour you can roll out the dough, cut into triangles and spread out the filling, for which you should grate cheese and mix it with melted butter. Carefully wrapped crescents of croissants can be transferred to a greased baking sheet and baked for half an hour until the delicacy turns golden brown.

Very interesting and a recipe for croissants with chocolate. The easiest way is to take ready-made yeast puff pastry for this - and throw all the forces to create a delicious filling. This will require dark bitter chocolate (150 grams), ready-made dough (1 kg.), Egg and large sea salt. To begin with, carefully roll out the dough sheet, after defreezing it, then cut into small pieces of triangular shape. For each slice, you can then put portions of heated chocolate, fold them in the form of a crescent moon and grease with a beaten egg. Before making croissants, it is necessary to sprinkle the raw billet with salt in a small amount, hold it for a quarter of an hour for baking and bake for the same time. The readiness of the French delicacy is evidenced by a significant increase in its size and the purchase of a wonderful golden brown color.
