From the fortress wall you can see the surrounding villages and the ruins of another citadel - Palamidi, consisting of three separate fortresses.

At the foot of Kronos, in a wonderful green valley with olive groves and coniferous forests, stretches the land, considered the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Once there was a stadium that hosted the first Games. Immediately there were baths, gymnasiums, a place for the awarding of champions - Pritaneon. Now near the village of Olympia, where you can visit the Museum of the Olympic Games and the Museum of Archeology. If, after surveying the Peloponnesian peninsula, you decide to go to Messen, take a look at the serpentine nine kilometer circular wall, picturesquely winding among the green hills. By right it is considered a genuine masterpiece of serf architecture.
