The necessary tool for laying a laminate

Today, laminate is second only to linoleum in the ranking of the most popular and demanded floor coverings. Laminated floors are characterized by many positive qualities, one of which is ease of laying. For this reason, most home craftsmen quite often make the decision to do their own self-installing their own floor. However, laying the laminate provides strict adherence to the technology and the sequence of the process, ignoring which very quickly lead to the failure of individual elements and the whole sex in general. Therefore, every home master must have at hand a detailed manual, as well as all the necessary tools for laying the laminate.

Today there is no shortage in any necessary goods, and therefore everything that is required for repair can be bought in almost every construction shop. Moreover, almost all the major manufacturers of laminate floors offer their own set for laying the laminate, which includes all the necessary items. True, many craftsmen already have at home most of the tools included in such a set, so it is sometimes more sensible not to purchase the whole kit, but simply to buy all the missing items.
So, what kind of tools for laying a laminate may need a home technician? In principle, nothing superfluous such a device of the floor does not require. Moreover, in some cases, missing items can easily be replaced with other improvised tools, which does not affect the quality of the installation.

Perhaps, the most necessary tool for laying a laminate is a jigsaw with an appropriate set of saws. It can be replaced with a hacksaw or a hand saw. However, since the laminate will have to be cut not only along the entire perimeter, but also making different cuts for the door frames and heating pipes, the electric jigsaw will greatly accelerate and facilitate the work. It's also a good idea to have a tool for laying a laminate, like a rubber hammer for punching panels. Alternatively, you can use a simple hammer wrapped with a soft cloth, but it will not be convenient for them to work.

A building measuring tape, a metal square and a pencil will be needed for marking the laminated panels, and the puncher is useful for installing skirting boards in cases where it is necessary to make holes for dowels in a concrete wall. For less solid walls, you can use an ordinary drill, which is quite able to cope with the task. Need a master and podbivochny bar (it is usually put under the hammer for the final fixation of panels). We also need restrictive wedges that create a gap between the laminate and the wall. True, both of these items can successfully replace the trimmed laminated board.

As it becomes clear from the above, the laminate laying tool is an inexpensive, perfectly interchangeable set, which is almost always fully available in the building chest of any home wizard.
