The most effective technique is swimming with a butterfly

In a sport such as swimming butterfly, the technique takes first place. Unlike the rabbit and the brass, here you will not be able to achieve a high swimming speed, only thanks to physical strength. Butterfly is considered the most difficult way to learn. The style of swimming butterfly - one of the most difficult, and learn to swim well and quickly is not so simple. The main problem for those who are trying to master this technique is the return of hands and body above the surface of the water to its original position simultaneously with breathing.

Butterfly means synchronous movements of hands and feet. A tremendous role in training is played by undulating movement of the body. The starting position is as follows: arms stretched forward, the swimmer lies on his stomach, stretching his legs back.

Movement with hands

During the execution of the technique "swimming butterfly" the movements of the hands consist of three stages. These are: on yourself, on yourself and returning to the starting position. If desired, these steps can be divided into even smaller ones. Initial movements of the hands when performing the "butterfly" technique: swimming is similar to the movements performed with the breaststroke. The hands should be submerged in water in such a way that the palms look a little down and to the sides at a distance equal to the width of your shoulders. Further, the arms are diverted to the side in such a way that the movement is similar to the letter Y.

The next phase: the movement from oneself is carried out, in which the swimmer must describe the arc around his body. The elbows are located above the brushes, and the brushes, in turn, are directed downwards. After the hands have reached a third of the hip level, you must return. It must be remembered that the speed should increase. Due to the increase in the speed of movement of hands, the swimmer pushes out part of the body above the water level.

And finally, the final stage, when the swimmer takes the relaxed arms forward and returns to the starting position. In addition, in the elbows they must be absolutely straight. This stage should begin in the water, when thanks to the reduction of triceps the swimmer fully moves forward.

The hands are again separated by a distance equal to the width of the shoulders, and again fall into the water. It must be firmly remembered that it is not worthwhile to reduce and divorce hands.

Movement with feet

When performing the "swimming with a butterfly" technique, the feet should be kept together in order to reduce the power of the forces applied for swimming. The number of strokes by feet each swimmer chooses for himself, but usually there are two.

Breath

But with a breath more difficult. When performing the technique of "swimming with a butterfly," it should occur quite quickly. We must try to help ourselves by bending the body. But in order to perform such a movement, you should have an excellent skill of owning them. Inhalation is not through the nose, but through the mouth. The head should not stay long above the water level, because it will interfere with the return movements. Before the next breath, you should exhale through the nose and through the mouth. Swimmers who use the style of swimming butterfly, can use different methods of breathing. Some breathe through time, others - after two. In the world there are such professional athletes who are able to swim the entire distance, while not breathing at all.

Body movements

Applying the right movements with the body, one can facilitate the task of coordinating movements. Simultaneously lowering the shoulders into the water, one should raise the hips higher in such a way that the pelvis crosses the water line - and the body will execute the wave.

At the next stage, everything should happen the other way: shoulders go up, and the hips go lower, under the water.
