The famous "Forest deer", or How the panther turned into a horned handsome man

In the early 1970s Siberian Irkutsk flew a marvelous news: a forest came straight from the forest to the center of the city ... a deer. It was cold, you see, had to be a poor man, because he decided to "dress up" in one of the local shops. The uninvited wood visitor turned out to be an aesthetic: choosing among other commercial establishments the famous "Birch" for the whole country, he knocked out the window and jumped into the hall. Today it is for certain that it was the deer that hanged the horns - a fur coat or a hat, but only the fact remains: with a fur "booty" he rushed back to the forest.

The song "Forest deer" is known today to several generations of Russians. It fascinates with light romance and extraordinary airiness. In the fast-paced and muscular horned handsome man, it's impossible not to fall in love, and such universal recognition is the merit of two talented people - Yuri Entin and Yevgeny Krylatov.

In fact, the forest deer, known to the broad masses, was to be born ... panther. Nonsense? By no means. Simply this is the case when heaven was pleased to give the world joy.

Working on the film "Oh, this Nastya," Yuri Entin puzzled over the verses: the task was to talk about a panther with whom the girl was walking around the city. The right words did not go to the head, and the poet decided to take a little distraction, he picked up a newspaper and began to study what the country is living.

Irkutsk lived the news about the deer. After reading an entertaining note, Yuri Entin instantly came up with the text. This was the famous "Forest deer".

A beautiful song was born, and along with it, its creators had problems. Entin was at war with the director of the film: they did not like simple, seemingly lines. And then the composer came to the aid of the poet. Everything was decided with a light hand and bright talent Evgeny Krylatov. The music created by him to the "Forest Deer" melted the stern director's heart.

But then the cuffs fell on Krylatova. The then head of the children's radio said as he snapped: "Gypsy is ugly!" And he warned that only through his corpse they would hear the "Forest Deer" on the radio. The official did not have to wait for death - the song was sounded on the radio waves after his resignation.

Such is the fate of this song: both the film in which she sounded and the singer who performed her first, have long remained only in the memory of the elect. "The forest deer" was found to be hunted up to life. Moreover, the popularity of this creation does not fall with the years.

By someone's harsh and implacable decision, the talented Aida Vedischeva-the singer who presented the song with success-was pushed aside. On "Song-73" a song about the owner of a deer country was sung for some reason by a children's choir, and this fact could not but wound Vedishchev.

Years pass, and the role of a girl asking a deer to return to her khotenya, will try on such stars of the Soviet and Russian stage as Lyudmila Senchina and Sofia Rotaru, Tatiana Bulanova and Julia Savicheva, Sveta Svetikova and Julia Mikhalchik. Even the youth musical groups will swing at the song "The Forest Deer".

And Yevgeny Krylatov and Yuri Entin are only too happy about this. There was a time, explain, when it seemed that their work ceased to excite people. Everything that was created for decades collapsed. However, the "black band" has passed: new performers have appeared with burning eyes, hot hearts and lots of new ideas. "The forest deer" was needed, and when they are repeatedly phoned by more and more people, in order to demonstrate their vision of the song, it brings only joy, the authors say.
