The drug "Kardiket": instructions for use

The medicine "Cardicet" is a drug from the group of peripheral vasodilators. The drug antianginalnogo action "Kardiket", the instruction on application explains it, is intended for long-term treatment of angina pectoris or prevention of attacks of this disease, treatment of chronic heart failure, prevention of (secondary) heart attacks, treatment of ischemic disease.

The active substance of the drug is organic nitrate - isosorbide dinitrate. This substance is able to expand veins, arteries. Due to it, the reverse of the venous blood to the heart decreases, the filling of the left ventricle is normalized and, as a consequence, the final (final) diastolic pressure is normalized .

After oral administration of the drug "Cardiket", the instruction for use explains this, it starts to work in a quarter of an hour. As quickly as possible, the drug is concentrated in the blood. It dissolves rapidly in the stomach, but the active substance from the granules is released over a long period of time. That's why the drug "Cardicet" provides a quick and at the same time lasting effect.

Medication "Kardiket" initiates vasodilation, relaxing acting on the walls of the vessels and expanding them.

The drug "Kardiket", the instruction explains this, can be issued in the form of tablets and capsules of prolonged action. Tablets may contain 20, 60 or 40 mg of isosorbide medicinal dinitrate and excipients: lactose, magnesium stearate, potato starch, polyvinyl acetate, talc.

Tablets are round, white, convex only on one side. On the flat side there is a chamfer and a risk with the engraving "IR" and the figure denoting the amount of isosorbide dinitrate under it.

Usually in a cardboard bundle there are 2 or 5 blisters on 10 tablets in each.

Hard gelatin capsules of light brown color contain 120 mg of isosorbide dinitrate in the form of yellowish-white granules without an odor. • Malabsorption syndrome.
