Complex "Complyitus Calcium D3 Forte" instruction refers to the metabolic means that contribute to the regulation of phosphorus-calcium metabolism. Available in tablet form. For children, a powder is produced for the preparation of syrup.

Complex "Complymium Calcium D3", the composition of which includes colcalciferol (in the form of granulate), calcium carbonate and other components, is prescribed for the prevention and elimination of deficiency of D-vitamin and calcium. Indications for use include osteoporosis (idiopathic "steroid", senile, menopausal and others). At the same time the complex "Complyitium Calcium D3" instruction recommends the use as an addition to specific therapy. The agent is prescribed for osteomalacia caused by a disorder in the mineral metabolism in patients older than forty-five years. Complex "Complymitis Calcium D3" instruction recommends for hypocalcemia, including after compliance with the diet, from which dairy products and milk are excluded. The drug is prescribed for increased vitamin D and calcium intake during pregnancy or feeding, during the period of increased growth in children.

The drug in the form of tablets is chewed or swallowed whole.

For patients over the age of twelve, a tablet is recommended twice a day. It is advisable to take the drug with food in the mornings and evenings. The specialist can also designate an individual application plan in accordance with the clinical picture.

Complex "Complyitium Calcium D3" instruction does not admit to prescribing for hypercalcemia (including secondary or primary hyperparathyroidism), hypercalciuria, hypervitaminosis D, calcium nephrolithiasis, decalcifying tumors. Do not prescribe a remedy for osteoporosis associated with immobilization, pulmonary tuberculosis in the active phase, phenylketonuria and hypersensitivity.

Against the background of the use of the drug, it is necessary to provide control over the excretion of calcium in the urine, the concentration of creatinine and calcium in the plasma. In the development of calciuria (above 300 milligrams per day), dosage should be reduced or the application discarded.

Complex "Complymium Calcium D3" contains aspartame. This component is able to be metabolized to phenylalanine. This fact should be taken into account when assigning a complex of "Complymium Calcium D3" to patients with phenylketonuria.

To prevent overdose, it is necessary to take into account additional sources of vitamins. Do not take the supplement "Complyitium Calcium D3" at the same time as vitamin complexes that contain calcium and D-vitamin.

During pregnancy, an overdose of vitamins can provoke a disorder in the child's mental development. During the prenatal period per day should not take more than 1.5 grams of calcium and 0.6 grams of D-vitamin. It should be taken into account that the components of the drug penetrate into the milk.

The need of the elderly in calcium is 1500 milligrams a day, in D-vitamin - 500 thousand-1 million IU per day.

With caution, the "Complyitium Calcium D3" complex recommends that administration be prescribed for granulomatosis (benign), renal insufficiency, simultaneously with glycosides and thiazide diuretics.

Overdose shows thirst, nausea, decreased appetite, dizziness. Constipation is possible. In some cases, there is a coma. Long-term use in high doses causes calcification in tissues and vessels.
