Medication "ATP-long" refers to cardiovascular drugs. This drug has anti-ischemic, membrane-stabilizing and anti-arrhythmic action. The drug "ATP-long" helps to stimulate energy metabolism, and also restores the concentration of potassium ions and magnesium ions in the body, improves the antioxidant system and thereby provides protection of the myocardium. This drug is taken 3-4 times a day, the dose is from 10 to 40 mg. Duration of treatment usually varies within 20-30 days. In two weeks you can repeat it again. Contraindications to the use of the drug "ATP-long"

It is not recommended to use this remedy for people who have acute myocardial infarction, hypermagnesia, hyperkalemia, bronchial asthma (especially its severe forms), hemorrhagic stroke, AV blockade II-III, hypersensitivity to any of the components that are present in the composition Preparation. Also, this drug is not prescribed to women during the period of breastfeeding and pregnant women.

In case of an overdose, when taking the drug, arterial hypotension, bradycardia and atrioventricular blockade can develop. In such cases, the medication is stopped and symptomatic therapy is performed. When bradycardia occurs, administration of atropine sulfate is prescribed.

If you plan to take this medication for a long time, you need to periodically check the level of magnesium and potassium in your blood. The preparation contains sucrose and lactose, this must be taken into account before prescribing it to people with diabetes mellitus. Admission of the drug "ATP-long" provides for a restriction in the use of products containing caffeine.
