Mamai and his army fled, but they were pursued by the Russian cavalry until deep in darkness. The victory over the Golden Horde was complete and unconditional. The threat of the destruction of Russia and all the consequences that would have been impossible to change the life of the Russian people were eliminated.

Despite the victory in this massacre, its price was too great. A week was collected and buried all the dead Russian soldiers in mass graves.
