The analysis "I met you - and everything that was before ..." F. Tyutchev. History of the creation of the poem

Peru of the Russian poet of the XIX century F.I. Tyutchev belong, perhaps, the most heartfelt lines about love. His passionate passions by women gave Russian literature a lot of poems filled with ecstasy and bliss, suffering and a sense of tragedy.

A special place in the poet's work is the work (in this article we offer a detailed analysis of it) "I met you - and everything was ...". Tyutchev writes about love in it so that the feelings of the lyrical hero are similar to the emotional state of many readers.

The mysterious "KB"

The poem was created in 1870, when its author has already turned 66 years old.

There is a version that on July 26 the poet, who was on treatment in Carlsbad, accidentally encounters Baroness Amalia Krüdener (KB), in the nephew of Lherchenfeld. They met when they were still young: passionate feelings flared up between them. However, fate would have liked that young Amalia was married to a wealthy baron. And now, a few decades later, a new meeting, stirring up former Feodor Ivanovich's feelings. In support of this, considered generally accepted, point of view, testify to the poet's contemporaries and analysis "I met you - and everything was ...".

However, not so long ago there appeared another version of the one to whom the poem is addressed. Literary scholars assume that "KB" could be Clotilde von Botmer - this is the sister of the first wife of the poet. Tyutchev knew her even before his marriage, besides, during the creation of the poem, she lived not far from Carlsbad.

Analysis "I met you - and everything was ..."

The theme of the poem is the resurrection in the soul of man of the desire to live, caused by memories of the past happy days.

The first impression that occurs during the reading of the text - the lyrical hero, who reached maturity (parallel to the autumn), was tired, and the feelings in him had long been dulled. It's nothing to please, all the best seems to be left behind. And suddenly an unexpected meeting with his youth, which made his blood again worry. The author very successfully passes this state, using already in the second line an oxymoron "in an obsolete heart revived". The analysis "I met you - and all the past ..." recalls the poet's other lines: "I remember the time of gold ...", written at a time when he was still young and full of energy.

In the second stanza there are metaphors that form in interesting associations: the time of year is the age of a person. Parallels autumn - old age and spring - youth help to understand how unexpected for the hero those changes that occur in his soul. Warm memories gradually, unobtrusively awaken life, joy, give hope, inspire. The motif of sleep used in the 4th stanza ("I look at you, as if in a dream") is interesting, emphasizing the unexpectedness and importance of what is happening.

Gradually comes the realization that the hero is still able to fully experience the movement of life, and his heart is open to love, just as in a distant youth.

Lexical system of the poem

The description of the feelings that come to life in the hero is helped by a special verbal number of the poem, which is proved by the analysis "I met you - and everything ...". The work is read easily, without effort, which is facilitated by a bright mood, which evokes an emotional response of vocabulary.

The words "golden," "hangs ... in the spring," "we will eat," "charm" come with warmth and tenderness, and a little noticeable sadness ("age separation", "late autumn") only shades those changes that occur in the soul. The solemnity and importance of the moment is attached to the lofty vocabulary: "enveloped in the breeze", "will get excited", "the same fascination".

Movement of feelings, souls transmit and verbs: "revived", "will get excited," "life began to speak." They are related to the image of a light breeze, the barely noticeable whiff of which awakens the forces dormant within: "suddenly it will suddenly spring."

Means of expressiveness: analysis

"I met you - and everything was ..." is characterized by an abundance of paths that help to convey the depth of the lyrical hero's feelings . These are personifications and metaphors ("in an obsolete heart", "the heart became ... warm", "life began to speak"), comparisons ("like after a century separation"), epithets ("golden", "cute", parting "age" ). A special role is played by inversion ("there are days", "sounds became audible"), anaphora (repetition of the first words in the last stanza), emphasizing the emotionally significant parts of the poem.

The analysis "I met you - and all the past ..." draws attention to the sound side of the work. Assonance (repetition [O], [E]) and alliteration (softer [B], [H] and contrasting [P]) give the text a melody, lightness, freshness comparable to the breeze of the breeze, and at the same time emphasize the unexpectedness of what is happening. Emerging contrasts help the author capture the slightest movements of the regenerated soul. Thus, each stanza - there are only five of them - is a new stage of the hero's experiences: from the first trembling recognition of the beloved to the sensation of the triumph of life and love engulfing his whole being.

Image K.B.

The image of the poet inspired by the poet is blurred. We do not see the description of the beloved - the author only notes the "cute features" and the "charm" characteristic of her. Perhaps, therefore, the poem does not leave the reader indifferent: everyone sees in him the appearance of a woman, created by her own imagination. The analysis "I met you - and everything that was before ...", whose theme - the spiritual revival of the hero after meeting with his beloved woman, shows that it is very important for the poet to convey the feelings filling him.

F. Tyutchev, in this way, focuses his attention on disclosure filled with inexhaustible love, tenderness, and hopes of the inner world of the lyrical hero.

The Union of Poetry and Music

For the iambic poem "I met you - and everything that was before ..." (analysis according to the plan given above, this has already been stressed) is characterized by melodiousness and musicality. It is no accident that the composers tried to shift it to music. The most successful is the performance of the romance by I. Kozlovsky. Most likely, this is an interpretation of the melody written by L. Malashkin. In this version, the romance has come down to our times and for over a century now it has pleased connoisseurs of real poetry and music.
