Tetracycline ointment, the use of which is caused by its constituent substances, is a broad-spectrum antibiotic. Today, this drug is rarely prescribed to patients due to the fact that new drugs are constantly appearing. However, most people who once used tetracycline ointment prefer it to more modern means. This is due to the fact that it is very simple to use, effective enough and affordable. All this makes this drug irreplaceable in most cases. There are two types of tetracycline ointment: 3% and 1%. The first is used to treat skin diseases, and the latter - to the eye. In addition to the active component of tetracycline, the drug includes medical Vaseline, as well as lanolin.

When a tetracycline ointment is used

The use of this drug is effective for furunculosis, acne, acne, trophic ulcers, stomatitis, urino-genital and ENT infections, inflammation of hair bulbs. Ointment is applied twice a day. In some cases, it is possible to use a dressing. For this purpose, the ointment is applied to a folded several times gauze and applied to a sore spot. Change the bandage every twelve hours. It should be noted that tetracycline ointment, the price of which is on average 35 Russian rubles per package, is an excellent remedy for acne and acne. Apply to pimples it should be as often as possible. It is best to do this a few hours before going out, as the ointment is fat enough. Treatment can take as a couple of days, and a few weeks. Side effects
