Such different pepermia: home care

One of the most decorative and interesting plants, grown by lovers of home colors, is peperomy. Care at home for this green sill resident is both simple and painstaking. How to transplant, water and fertilize this plant, know not all the florists. Many people know the pyperomy, but few know what it's called and that it has a huge number of varieties. Sometimes you can see pots with evergreen bushes, and sometimes find a beautiful blossoming view with buds in the form of arrows.

Proper care for pyperemia

Choosing the optimal lighting, it is worth giving preference to the western or eastern windows. The light is necessary, but it is desirable that it be scattered, without direct rays reaching the leaves. The southern windows are also suitable, but you will have to figure out how to darken the plant. Indoor plant, peperomy, the photo of which can be seen in this article, does not tolerate bright light. If the leaves began to rot, twist and fall, you should rearrange the pot in a darker place. When there is no place or possibility to place the plant on a suitable window, you can leave it simply in the room, with artificial lighting.

During the summer, the ideal temperature is +22 о С, in winter the same will be +18 о С. The main condition that should be adhered to is to grow a healthy pepery: home care should be regular, without sharp changes in lighting, fertilizers or humidity levels. The roots of the plant are tender enough, so the internal temperature of the pot should not fall below + 17 ° C.

Peperomy - indoor flowers that require year-round watering, but moisten the soil is only at the first signs of drying the soil. The roots of the plant can be rotted by unreasoned overmoistening. Outwardly, such a flaw of the flower grower looks like an unreasonable drop of leaves. For watering use a soft, ideally, a permanent couple of days water. Once a week, you can spray the leaves from the atomizer to eliminate dry air and slightly raise the humidity, which is not very fond of the pepermia. Care at home requires mandatory fertilizing with mineral fertilizers every 2-4 weeks, depending on the season.

Transplantation of peperomy

After the plant has lived for three years, it is necessary to select a new pot every year, preferably in the spring - in April. The ground is used loose, well-kept moisture, but breathable. The pot should be wide enough to have the leaves where to settle, but the depth is absolutely not important. Usually choose a container one and a half times the previous one.

If a florist develops hydroponics, it is difficult to come up with a more suitable plant than peperomy. Care at home allows you to grow whole tropical oases on the windowsill, especially as the flower reproduces perfectly by cuttings, leaves or seeds. Lazy growers can recommend a simple division of the plant with an annual transplant.

Advice: the children's room is the ideal place for the pepermia, which cleans the surrounding space from pathogenic bacteria. The atmosphere in the rooms with this plant is usually calm, and the air is very fresh.
