Ingredients:

  • Pork - 500 grams;

  • Carrots (medium size) - 2 pieces;
  • pepper;

  • Bay leaf;

Lenten soup with dumplings

This variant of the dish can be prepared both in vegetable broth and in chicken. You can make dumplings or semolina.

Ingredients:

  • Water - 2 liters + 250 ml;
  • Butter - 100 grams;
  • Flour - 1 tablespoon;
  • Beans - ½ cup;
  • Eggs - 2 pieces;
  • Onion - 1 piece;
  • Carrots - 1 piece;
  • Celery root - 1 piece;
  • Sweet pepper with peas;
  • Fresh greens;
  • Paprika, salt, ground pepper.

Beans, previously soaked in cold water, boil and cool. Peel onions, carrots, as well as celery root, cut into slices or slices. Boil 2 liters of water in a saucepan, put vegetables in it and cook until done. After a while add the boiled beans to the soup and bring it to a boil.

Butter in a separate bowl with 250 ml of water to dissolve and gradually bring to a boil. Add flour to it and boil it, stirring thoroughly, for another 2-3 minutes on a slow fire. Then cool and add eggs alternately. Salt and pepper.

Dumplings pick up a teaspoon and dip into the soup. Boil the lean soup until cooked. Before serving, you can decorate it with fresh herbs.
