The company LG, which until recently seriously lagged behind the leaders in the race in the mobile market, in recent years, began to actively build positions, releasing all new smartphones. Some of them have some unique features that can attract the attention of the public. Of course, in addition, the device can boast of high quality assembly, interesting design, serious technical equipment. It's not for nothing that we are talking about the product from the giant of technologies - LG!

In today's article, we are just paying attention to one of the phones of this brand. Meet: it's LG Spirit. The review in which we describe the device will deal with its technical features, advantages and disadvantages, and also contain customer feedback.

Common Position

In general, it should be said that the model was born in 2014, because of what it can be attributed to the category of a few obsolete smartphones. Of course, LG has replaced it with a number of other phones that outperform it in its qualities and characteristics.

However, do not neglect the LG Spirit (Titan). The review showed that before us - a decent device, positioned by the manufacturer as a typical representative of "middle class" devices.

LG's marketers have worked hard on the phone, and they went on to create a curved display. It looks really impressive, but here's what in practice - we'll tell you later. Although, you will agree, even from a purely interest model with such an unusual form of the screen I would like to hold in my hands if I do not buy it.

Design

What to say about the appearance of the device? In fact, in addition to the form of the display, nothing unusual is not found here. While the specialists conducted a dedicated LG Spirit review, they found out that the device is made of glass and plastic, which looks pretty good. Under the curved screen developers have endowed the smartphone with a similarly shaped body, which tapers closer to the edges.

The front side is covered with glass all over the surface, so it covers even the frames around the screen. Screen

The device has a 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. With it, the density of the image can be called high (312 points) - the effect of "granularity" is not observed here.

As the reviews on LG Spirit Y70 (review confirms it), the smartphone behaves well in the sun - even under direct rays the image on it is readable, and the information is discernible.

By the way, there is no difference in how the image is displayed on the curved and usual surface of the screen. Therefore, we confirm that this form is only a spectacular marketing move.

The developer claims that the display is covered with a special protective glass, capable of withstanding impacts during falls. In addition, for greater ease of use of the model, the screen is covered with an oleophobic layer. However, about it (more precisely - about its absence) the buyers of the device respond not in the best way - apparently, there are traces of fingers on it.

Also, speaking of the display, I would also like to mention that the In-Cell Touch technology is used here. It allows the screen to react to touch even if part of it is damaged mechanically. Actually, it is convenient in the event that you really drop and damage the device.

Hardware platform

Of course, for such an interesting sample, the developer company should establish a serious "stuffing". Also put MediaTek 6582, which works in tandem with 1 GB of RAM. Users note that immediately after the device is activated, without starting additional programs, about 300 MB are available from them. The clock speed of its cores is 1.3 GHz (there are four of them).

To put it bluntly, it's impossible to call such a "heart" of a gadget highly productive. This is a suitable stuffing for budget devices, whereas on the middle-class device it looks "not very". As the LG Spirit review showed, the processor can not work with games like Real Racing 3 on medium or high parameters - you have to switch all settings to a "low" quality level.

So if you would like to use a gaming device, you have to be disappointed.

Connectivity

The technical characteristics that we managed to find about the device showed its wide communication possibilities. The system itself works smoothly and without delays - already in this plan it is clear that the developer has spent a lot of efforts to optimize the interaction processes.

Camera

As is the case with the release of such Android-smartphones, manufacturers install two camera modules - front and main. Accordingly, the first one is used to create self-images, while the second one is used for photographing anything "on the other side of the screen".

The characteristics of the cameras are not the most enviable - it's 8 megapixels and 1 megapixel.

As for the quality of shooting, it can be judged by working with LG Spirit. Feedback, review, as well as hands-on experience with the smartphone showed that the device removes mediocre - good quality pictures can only be obtained if there is good lighting around.

The bad thing is that the device does not have the ability to take pictures in HDR mode. This technology, which is used to create a series of photographs (usually from 3 to 5 pieces). From them, in the future, a higher-quality one is chosen, and on the basis of it (programmatically) a final optimized image is created. In the case of the Spirit model, the number of available settings is reduced to the maximum.

Speaking about the self-camera, we should note the high quality of its work and for communication on Skype. Making a clear photo for social networks through it will be difficult - you need to have a corresponding light balance.

Battery

An important factor in the work of the phone is its battery. Overview of the smartphone LG Spirit showed that on this model it is removable, having a capacity of 2040, according to some sources, and 2100 mAh - for others. With such a battery, the device can serve up to 2.5 hours (in the mode of incessant game) and up to 5.5 hours (when playing video).

In this regard, let's put it this way: if you do not use your smartphone too actively, it should be enough for one working day. With a more regular interaction with it, you will most likely have to carry a portable battery.

Additional "bonuses"

Of course, in addition to all the above, the model has a number of "bonus" functions, which the developer has endowed it with. For example, this is the ability to unlock the screen by tapping on the glass (which is very convenient, given the location of the corresponding key on the rear panel). Or, for example, manufacturers took care of the additional function in the form of the ability to turn off the sound, simply turning the device over.

Such pleasant additions are not only in the functional of the model. Its configuration can also please the buyer by the presence of a new cover for the rear panel. Thus, the presence of two pieces will allow you to diversify the experience of using the device.

Despite the fact that we conducted a test of the LG Spirit H422, the review reviews will not replace (in terms of completeness and relevance of the information provided). Therefore, we refer to the information set out in the comments of customers and former users of this model.

The first and most notable drawback mentioned in all the comments was the battery's autonomy. According to customers, the phone is discharged too quickly, and this is not saved even by the connection to charging. Being connected to the network, the device continues to sit down, if not to give it "peace of mind" for this time.

The second nuance, showing the lack of apparatus, is the inhibitions that arise during the work. As it turned out, the smartphone works smoothly and without delays only during the first time after its purchase. In the future, as it is filled with information, it begins to "hang" and "buggy". Even the applications for optimizing and accelerating the device, so widely available on Google Play, do not solve the problem.

In addition to these, there are many other negative aspects in the operation of the device. For example, this is: interruptions in the operation of some individual modules (such as Bluetooth, W-iFi adapter); "Mark" display, on which you can clearly see the traces of hands; Poor quality of photos taken on the front camera. Some also complain about the high cost of the device, but not all buyers agree with this. Some of them believe that the smartphone is offered for quite adequate, as for its capabilities, the cost.

As a result, I would like to note that the position of LG Spirit in some way is somewhat double-digit. On the one hand, this is a quality phone from a well-known manufacturer, which, apparently, is assembled "on conscience". At least, he performs his functions, but his possibilities are quite wide. All this is offered for 10 thousand rubles, which in itself is already quite good.

On the other hand, there are shortcomings and some negative moments in the work of the device. About them we mentioned above and, apparently, there are others presented on separate models. If the buyer is ready to put up with them, then for him it will be an ideal phone at an affordable price. If not, perhaps attention should be paid to competitors.
