On the way he meets empty cities, in which there is no one. At the entrance to the Atlanta horde, a zombie attacks him, killing a horse, but Rick escapes by locking himself in a tank he found nearby.

Glenn, a young guy, by the appearance of an Asian, helps him and leads him to a store in which a group of escaped death hides. It's Jackie, Tie-Dog, Merle and Andrea. From them, Rick learned that they were in Atlanta from the camp to replenish food supplies. But they were noticed by the dead, who, after knocking out the window, got inside. But the understanding in the new group, as it turned out, is not, as the racist and drug addict Merle is thrown at Tee-Dog. Rick managed to cope with Dixon and fastened it to the pipe with handcuffs.

Rick and Glenn came up with a way to go past a zombie without attracting their attention. They were smeared with blood and guts of gutted zombies and successfully got out. Having found the car, they take out the rest of the participants of their group. But Dixon remained on the roof.

Family reunification

Having met his son and wife, Rick decides to go back and save Dixon, as well as to find his bag of weapons, which he lost in the city. Three people go with him. Finding the roof of the house where Dixon was, they saw that he had freed himself from the handcuffs and fled. Friends are looking for a bag. During this time, there was a fight in the camp.

The action of the following seasons unfolds in the same way - the survivors try to get away from the zombies, and the corpses pursue them. The author of the idea Darabont left the set after the first season and left the project. His place was taken by Glen Mazzara. In the second season of the series "Walking Dead" the plot unfolds on the farm. The group is headed by Rick. Her owner - Herschel Green and his family - sheltered them while the Grimes group sought out Sophia - Carol's daughter. The sixth season tells of attempts to lead a crowd of zombies away from Alexandria. The inhabitants of the city take turns trying to take as many dead as possible, but after hearing the sound of the car signal, half of the departed dead again returns to the walls of Alexandria. As a result of the explosion, the city tower falls. A stream of zombies poured into this opening.

"Walking Dead", Season 7: Description of the plot

The author again brings Nigan to the stage. After a brutal crackdown on Rick's two friends - Glen and Abraham - Nigan tries to break the psychologically and the protagonist.
