This charismatic and talented actor was born in the Voronezh region, in the village of Krasny Lehman. Sergei's father is a serviceman. After a while he was transferred to the service on Sakhalin, where the whole family moved. There and passed the childhood Astakhov. In the eighth grade, a young man wanted to enter the Suvorov School, but his parents discouraged him, who dreamed of seeing his son as an engineer. As Sergey Astakhov recalls, there was nothing pleasant in military service, but a new life and independence, which was not on the "citizen", were attractive. In the tank company, the young soldier served only three months, and then he was transferred to a military band. His service was held there.

Study at the school

In 1939, having given his civil duty to the Motherland, Sergei Astakhov, whose biography was already connected with creativity, entered the Voronezh Theater School. Just at this time the father of the future actor received an apartment in this city.
