Selfless love is the truth or myth

Probably, each of us at least once in my life heard the expression "selfless love", but few people attached importance to it. Many poems and poems are written about such feelings. Many poets and philosophers once thought about what is the selfless love between a man and a woman, and what is its role in society. Let's try to figure out whether there really is selfless love.

Love is not "give", but "take"

Selfless love is a feeling that does not require reciprocity and return. An excellent example is the mother's love for the child. Mom, for her own sake, is ready to sacrifice everything. Even if the child has grown rude and does not respect the mother, she will still love and cherish him, no matter what.

As a rule, in our time, such a love between a man and a woman is a rarity. All because people who have repeatedly burned in a relationship, forget about what true love is. The person who has suffered insult and betrayal begins to think that his unselfishness in love has not led to anything good. In addition, selfless is love that can grow into a mania. A person falls in love and gives himself to relationships, which simply does not notice that he is drowning in it. Every day this feeling absorbs him more and more. The worst thing is when such feelings are unrequited. A girl whose love is unrequited and selfless is a "weapon of mass destruction". Now she is blind and calm, and tomorrow she can bring down the whole world to the head of her lover.

From extreme to extreme

Surely many people wonder why the extremes prevail in love relationships. In one day we can madly love a person, and after learning about his betrayal, immediately hate. To such extremes, more often, people who loved selflessly resorted. It's hard to imagine how a person felt who gave himself to everyone else, and he betrayed him. A man whose love is selfless is a very vulnerable nature. He is able to feel and love blindly. Most often, the person who has mastered such feelings, does not notice the shortcomings of his half. But are such people forgiving?

Forgiveness is the lot of strong

Can you call strong people who love disinterestedly? Hardly. Selfless love is like a ship of salvation from its own complexes and shortcomings. By giving ourselves to another person, we try to forget about our imperfection, and this is peculiar only to the weak. In any sense, a measure is important. Of course, forgiveness is a great art and a very noble cause, but does this mean that after forgiveness we should return to previous relationships?

Selfless love - happiness is near

Selfless is love that does not know the word "give", but only knows "take". This uniquely beautiful feeling, devoid of self-interest and self-esteem. However, in order for the lover to be truly happy, his other half should also love selflessly. Despite the fact that such couples are a rarity, people who are able to disinterestedly love exist. Such a couple will live uniquely very happily, because giving themselves to each other, they will not be in need.

Is it not wonderful to know that your second half will give your life for you, exactly, as you are for it. Selfless love is a feeling filled with romance and passion.
