"Farmer" -AUZ is a cargo-and-passenger modification of the legendary "loaf" (UAZ-3303), characterized by the wheel formula 4x4 and the presence of an onboard tilt body for the carriage of goods of various types. According to the manufacturer, this car is able to go on all types of roads, whether it's an asphalt track, a rural primer or a rugged terrain.

Design

In fact, the modification of the "Farmer" - this is the same "Loaf", only with the cargo body from the 3303rd UAZ. On the exterior and modern lines, you can not even remember. What can you do, the entire model range of cars of the Ulyanovsk plant was once intended solely for the needs of the Soviet Army, so first of all technical equipment was valued here, and nobody really thought about the exterior. By modern standards, the "Farmer" -UAU is outdated somewhere at least 30 years old. Interestingly, during the entire production period neither he nor the "Loaf" have ever been subjected to changes externally.

"Farmer" -AUZ can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. True, "with comfort" - said too loudly for this truck. Still inside is not as cozy as in the Mercedes Vito, but there are no amenities here. Between the first and second row of seats the manufacturer has placed a special window partition, and a small table is set in the center of the cabin.
Also it is impossible not to notice the presence of a new stove, which turned out to be much more powerful than on the standard UAZs of the 3303 model. It is simply impossible to freeze in such a cabin in winter, and this is especially true for residents of the northern latitudes, where, in fact, it is used for the most part. Inside, there is a lot of free space, and even on the back row you do not feel trapped between the walls of the cabin.

UAZ "Farmer": characteristics of engines

Until recently, a truck with a carburettor fuel delivery system was installed on the truck , but due to its "environmental friendliness" it was replaced by a new 4-cylinder injector motor UMZ-4213 with a capacity of 99 horsepower. In the near future, the Ulyanovsk producer does not plan to change the 4-step "mechanics" to any other, and even more so to install the "automatic" box on the "Farmer" -AUZ. Regarding power units, too, no changes will be made, at least in the next 2-3 years.

The initial cost of a new low-tonnage truck is 437 thousand rubles. In principle, for a truck equipped with all-wheel drive, this is quite an acceptable cost, but if you focus on the "modern" design and "innovative" cabin of UAZ, then, definitely, it does not cost that much money.
