Expressionists and their paintings

In Soviet times there was a fairly large number of artists who represented the unofficial art of the USSR. One of these artists was Lucian Gribkov.

Born and worked Gribkov Lucian in Moscow, participated in joint exhibitions with other artists. I painted mostly oil paintings in the direction of abstraction. This is one of the most vivid and memorable artists of the "thaw" period.

Style of work of the artist

The style of work was very close to abstract expressionism. This style became a cult during the thaw period, its characteristic features were a disorderly and asymmetric image of objects, which was completely symbolized by the artist's emotions. It is impossible not to note the attitude of Lyutsian Gribkov to the studio "New Reality". This is a creative union of the time in which artists were abstract artists. The studio began its existence in 1950, and disintegrated around 1950-2000.

Fund of Russian Abstract Art

            Lucian Gribkov belonged to the fund of Russian abstract art. This fund was a non-profit organization that was conscious of the purpose of promoting cultural, political and public requests. The aim of the community was to bring to each person the beauty of abstract art.
The foundation's activities included educating people and finding new talents. The latter forced the organization of the studio "New Reality" headed by Belyutin. He was an outstanding and talented person. He was one of the main who played a very important role in the development and popularity of abstract expressionism.

Artistic activity of Lyutsiana Gribkova

The graduate of the studio "New Reality" was also Lucian Gribkov. In addition, he conducted an active artistic activity, regularly attended the so-called "Belyutin faculty", participated in many seminars. Lucian Gribkov often used combinations of blue, green, red and yellow colors in his works. This gave him the opportunity to express his thoughts and personality.

Pictures of this artist and all canvases of abstract expressionism develop thinking, make you think about life, and sometimes about the feelings of the author of the canvas, his experiences, thoughts. Such pictures look good in any interiors and never go out of fashion. Lucian Gribkov drew amazing paintings, participated in many exhibitions and actively engaged in the development of abstract expressionism.
